I'm just starting to check out these themepark posts and love it! I see that there is a place to post Illuminations cruises to share. Is there a place for Wishes cruises? I'd love to find someone going on a Wishes cruise May 16, 17, 18 or 19. If there isn't a place to post and you are someone willing to share please let me know. There are 6 of us going. 2 Adults and 4 kids (feel I should warn you they are ages 5,4,2,1 - but are good kids.). It is a girlfriend and I braving Disney w/o our husbands. I didn't know about these cruises before and the Wishes very much appeals to me.
I do have one other question. We're staying at OKW. Will we be able to get to the boats easily, or is this a challenge? (We don't have a car).
Thank You!

I posted a Wishes cruise to share on the illuminations thread. Unfortunately we are not going at the same time or the problem would be solved. I would love to share mine as well though. It is for 5/12

I called for my cruise this morning for end of June was able to get one (Illuminations was already booked for the whole week we are there). The CM told me the boat fits up to 8. The cost was $140.84 plus tax and if you want to tip. We are eating at Chef Mickey's that evening and were told we are getting the boat from the Contemporary. Knowing that you are going in May I would call now for info and the reservation. The # is 407-wdw-play. :)

Thank you Matt&Jake'sMom!! I called this morning and got a boat for May 18! I never would have thought I'd still be able to book one.
I was also excited because I was told this is the night MK is open 3 hours later for resort guests so we will have no problem taking the monorail back to MK and getting a bus back to OKW. Yippee - no hassle! It never ceases to amaze me how many things I don't know about at WDW!

Anyway, there's 6 of us and I was told the boat holds up to 12, so if anyone out there would like to share let me know. I'd be jumping up and down if I got to go on the Wishes cruise and have someone to share the cost with.

Thanks Again
Ami

We were just on a Wishes cruise 7 days ago and it was incredible, I hope it spreads as much pixie dust on your trip as it did on mine. I got so misty eyed at the beauty of it and the look of wonder on my kids' and parents' faces that the captain (a 19 yr old female lifeguard) gave me a big hug goodbye. Our boat was from WL and we just took a boat from POR to DTD and spent some time there then caught a bus to WL. On the way back, we were lucky enough that no one else was on the bus so we had our own personal bus back to our resort. The bus driver heard us talking about getting a connecting bus from DTD back to our resort. He said if anyone got on at the GF going to DTD, he'd ask them if he could drop us off first. Since no one got on, we had our own purple pants chauffeur! :wizard:

We're a family with 3 kids and we'll be relying on our double stroller for the trip. What do we do with the stroller when we take the wishes cruise? Is there room on board or will we have to leave it at the dock? Would it be better to leave it at the hotel for this outing? We're departing from the Polynesian and staying at SOG.

There would have been room on our boat to bring a double stroller with 5 people, but i don't know what their rules are. I know the docking area at WL had a building used during the day for watercraft rental so they may be able to store it in something like that. Maybe call back and ask the CM if they know :confused3
