Has anyone shared a meal just using 1 TS credit? I was thinking about trying it. Obviously not at a buffet. I don't see any reason why they would not let you.

We share and never had a problem. I have heard that Via Napoli at Epcot does not allow sharing but we have never eaten there. We shared this time at Chefs, Tuttu, La Hacienda, Coral Reef, Sci Fi, Kona's, Mama's, Rainforest, Yak and Yeti. :)

This is fantastic news. Thanks :)

We're planning to share meals to stretch our credits so we make up for the 2 TS credits a CRT bfast is costing. Several other meals we will share 3 credits between the 4 of us.

I also have to stretch my credits as I have an ADR at Fultons.

I think there is a rule that you can only share with other people on the dining plan, but if this is what you're planning, then it probably won't be a problem. That said, it's probably up to the servers and the restaurant the same as ordering from the kid's menu while paying OOP.

We are both on the dining plan so it shouldn't be a problem

won't be able to share buffets but other meals probably could until WDW has to crack down on the sharing....asmost places here in town we live in charge a flat fee to share a meal $5.00.....

The Plaza even split DH & my meal up for us on our own plates. This is a really good idea if your not that hungry. I find my eyes are bigger than my stomach in WDW. I want to eat everything I see!!:lmao:

From our experience i can't see any need to share credits, unless it's to try more restaurants or eat at TS'es around the world of course. We always end up with way too many CS and snack credits left, we really have to struggle to use them all! And we eat a lot. Just in case you're not aware that 1 TS, 1 CS and a snack every day is a LOOOOT more than it sounds. :) :D

We shared at Sci Fi

We used 1 TS to get shake (drink), burger, shake (dessert)
I ordered onion rings and another burger OOP
My DS, DH, and I shared the food-no problems

DS and I shared the Prix Fixe Lunch at Le Chefs for 1 adult TS-no problem. Other than a drink, I didn't even order anything OOP (I was going to order an app but DS decided he didn't want snails afterall)

That being said, we got to enjoy more TS meals this way on the regular DDP BUT we also left with a lot of extra CS.

I had a lot of CS credits left too doing that but turned them into snack credits before leaving and loaded up on snacks to take to the airport or back home. I refuse to ever leave Disney with unused credits of any kind :lmao:

I'm right with you!!

Maybe we just eat too much because we never have a bunch of counter service left. :confused3 We usually do a snack for breakfast (muffin, donut, bagel, etc), counter service lunch, and table service dinner.

We ended up with leftover CS because we ate at extra TS retaurants in Epcot. Too many places we wanted to eat there!! So I payed OOP for a few and then used the CS for 3 snacks. We will be on the deluxe plan in November. Will be A LOT of food and snacks, but damnit, I will use every credit! ;)

No, we eat a lot as well....:rotfl2:

We had extra CS because of paying OOP for extra TS or splitting credits to have extra TS (we also didn't have DH with us the entire time so that made a few extra CS) We got some to go meals for the road though, we didn't waste anything :lmao:

Also using the extra TS would make us not as hungry for the CS. So, for instance, we had a snack in the room, hit EMH at AK, then had a later breakfast at Tusker House. Then dinner at Cape May. I had planned on using a CS or two for lunch that day, but we weren't hungry enough for lunch so just more snacks in the room (granola bars, beef jerky, etc)

I have 9 TS ADRs ( One being Fultons which uses 2 credits) and 8TS credits. That is the reason I wanted to know if we could share

LOL...you had to see me that last day. I was a woman on a mission!! I got a ham and cheese sandwich and cheese plate with pastries from France for a very lovely airport meal, and then ran around our resort picking out snacks :lmao:

One poster noted that they shared with a child at Via Napoli. Most recent reports indicate that Via Napoli will not allow multiple guests to share a meal on one meal credit. You should probably not choose Via Napoli to be the meal you share.

I payed OOP for a few and then used the CS for 3 snacks.

The ability to use a CS credit for three snacks was discontinued this year.
