Sharing a room???

What hotel would fit 4 adults and 5 kids in a room? We are looking to split it with some friends if possible. We think it would be fun for the kids to be together. We definitely want a full kitchen so we can cook half our meals at least at the hotel and have to pay for food at the park every day.

Many people like Wyndam's Bonnett Creek, Sheraton's Vistiana (I think) and All ears advertisers All star vacation Homes. You could also see about getting a Grand Villa on property from a DVC member. THat needs 11 month planning though, I think. I am a DVC member but do not have enough points to worry about getting a grand villa...ever!

I think a 2 bedroom would work also at a DVC resort. I think 9 can fit, one king, two queen, sleeper chair and double sleeper sofa with full kitchen and laundry. You would want a dedicated 2 br, not a "lock off" which would be a one br with a king and a studio with one queen and the rest pull outs. A dedicated would get you more beds.

Won't fit at Vistana. They only sleep 8.

I'd look at renting a place at Windsor Hills. You could get a 4 or 5 bedroom house for a decent price.

We stayed at Vistana our last trip and they only sleep 8. I would like a place that has three bedrooms so none of us adults need to share with kids. I think DVC will be way too expensive.

How about a 3 or 4 bedroom at Wyndham Bonnet Creek? Gorgeous resort, inexpensive, and on WDW property!!!

We paid $120 for a 2-bedroom from Ken Price. One bedrooms are $100, so maybe 3 bedrooms are $140??

My friends own a gorgeous 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house. We stayed there last year and it was awesome. There are 4 twin beds, 1 queen bed, and 1 king bed.

Windsor Hills. We always rent from www.disneyneighbor.com. Great prices and really nice units. They do not have houses but do have condos and townhomes.

Wyndham does fit us, but it is nearly as expensive as Disney!! I guess I'll keep looking. We are hoping to go over Christmas, or the week before Christmas, so I guess there's always the chance there will be free dining and we can just stay onsite.....

I got a quote for a 3 bedroom unit at WBC for $169/night through vacation strategies. From what I understand there is also a pullout sofa....

You should try vrbo.com. You can find many 4-5 BR homes with full kitchen and private pool/hot tub for $150+/night at Windsor Hills, Indian Creek, Emerald Island. We've done this many times and have always had good luck. You'll appreciate the extra space not to mention multiple bathrooms.

I think a house will be the way we go if we can't get free dining....of course I have to calculate if it's actually any better to pay full price for the room and get the food free (and transportation and such), or just pay for our food, airport transfer, rental car and parking with a shared house. Hmmm...gives me something to do

I highly recommend a rental house. We travel with extended family and the key to a happy/successful vacation is EVERYONE having their own space. Every adult couple gets their own master bedroom and bathroom. Every kid gets their own bed that is not a pull out couch in the middle of the living space. We have rented this home for 4 years now and we are booked again for next year.

We are paying just over $1000 for a week including all taxes, pool heat and fees. This house is further out in Davenport, but I know that you could get something closer for the same price.

A vacation home at Windsor hills sounds exactly like what you're looking for. My sister and I have 4 adults and 7 kids between our two families and we love to share a home! We always find something on vrbo.com and have never had a problem. The kids LOVE having a private pool to play in after a long day at the parks. If you do decide that free dining is a better deal for you, we have shared three value rooms before. We were able to get 3 in a row, 2 with a connecting door. 4 kids stayed in the room in the middle with the connecting door. (an adult has to be registered in that room). It worked out fine but was def a tight squeeze and was a little confusing with the dining credits. I'd do it again for free dining if it worked out but a vacation house is always top of our list.
