As I see it you wash a guys dirty undies you can share anything
,

Absolutely! Let's just say that all the hard work we do for our guys entitles us to some fringe benefits and that includes sipping out of his mug or wine glass went I want to.

I know..... What is up with the germ issue? I'm with the other posters, if you are going to kiss him, then why not share a drink? I have friends with this same concept....I just don't understand.

By the way, the undies comment is :rotfl: !!

Just to put my .02 in...I say go for it. As for the buffet/drink island question, there most certainly are rules about that and they are strictly enforced in most resturants. But there's a big difference between paying $4.99 for an all you can eat buffet and taking $25 worth of food versus paying $12 for a cup and most people, even those sharing, don't use that amount of drink during their stay. If you're planning on spending your entire vacation at the drink station taking refill after refill 12 hours a day...get your own mugs, otherwise, go and do what the other 95% of us do..share and enjoy your drinks and your vacation. Just my humble opinion. :goodvibes

Ali,

Go for it. EVERYONE does this and there is no policy against it! I don't even know what is up with the "understood policy".....ummmmm ok. You are going to be at WDW so have a GREAT TIME!!!!!! :sunny:

If you buy gray underwear they last longer.

Well, unless you want the cup for a souvenir (and in that case which one of you gets to keep it?) save yourself the moral dilemma and stop at the store on the way in. You can buy a whole lot of cans of soda and a small cooler for the price of one cup.

Does anyone see anything wrong with my DFi and I only buying one refillable mug at our resort and sharing it between us.

I see something wrong with it. If you cut the mug down the middle all the drink will spill out :rotfl:

Ok, I have my own refillable mug question but I daren't start another refillable mug thread. lol

If we buy refillable mugs during our stay at Wilderness Lodge (4 of them of course as there are 4 people using them :p ) can we bring the mugs into the sit-down restaurants there? Or can we only use them at Roaring Fork where we refill them? Would we look like white trash if we brought our two (er, I mean four :)) freshly re-filled mugs into Artist Point or Whispering Canyon, thereby saving some money by not buying 4 drinks?

Hey! :wave2: I wouldn't take them to Artist Point...but I wouldn't hesitate to take them to Whispering Canyon...in fact we saw a few people that had done this on our last visit. :)

ETA: I don't remember having to pay extra for my drinks at WC...they may be included, I'm not sure.

Question is... who will get the mug when you split up? You might want to bring this issue up in pre-marital counseling. :rotfl:

Well, I am going to buy a refilable mug for my two little girls - just one. They would never drink all of what those mugs hold! I purchased two little princess cups adn they are already packed for our trip on SUNDAY :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I will buy myself one as well. I don't like the idea of adults sharing but since they don't have a child's size, I think that it is okay. I think Walt would agree also.

The policy is one mug per person same as it would be in any restaurant that has a beverage island where you get your own refills, just like Burger King etc. As stated I doubt it would be enforced, it is the honor policy. So again the choice is yours.

So if my hubby goes and gets coffee in his mug while I am getting ready in the room, he comes back and I take a swig or two, this is wrong?

Not being sarcastic, being serious.

I agree with you guys. You will French kiss you SO, but you won't drink after them?:confused3

Am I the only one who feels that there is something patently wrong with the whole "never ending cups of soda" for both kids and adults alike?
It just seems like such overkill and a tremendous amount of calories and sugar in a cup. One of those refillable mugs full of soda or lemonade gives you almost 1/3 of the calories your body requires per day! Research says that there 60% of Americans are overweight-obese and these kind of promos only add to the problem. Disney has dropped the ball on this one and should discontinue the program, IMO! If you love the cups, and take them home to put coffee or tea, Disney should just sell the cups without the soda.

I agree that Americans are on average overweight. I also believe that the problem stems from having a society so dependent upon pre-made foods laden with carbs. What I disagree with is your statement that "Disney has dropped the ball on this one and should discontinue the program." How many people literally spend their vacations sitting in the food court? Kids typically eat slower than adults and won't have time, or care to (given all the excitement of Disney) go up and retrieve cup-after-cup of soda and lemonade. Even if they do drink two mug-fulls at a sitting, I thoroughlly believe that they'll be expending the energy easily within the day with all the swimming, walking and other activities above and beyond what they do at home.

I don't see how Disney dropped the ball. :confused3

Ali, you slam me all day about breaking a Disney policy, one that I didn't know was in effect, yet you're all set and ready to break a policy that you know full well about? You even went so far to email WDW about a situation like mine to get a response to post on this forum, yet you're all set to break a policy that has been on this forum already. Do we get to pick and chose which policies we follow?

Since you had the time yeseterday to email WDW in regard to my situation, why not just do the same for yourself and then show us the response when you receive it?
