Sharing a meal at the Rainforest Cafe??

We ate at the rainforest in wdw this past jan. It really was way to much food for both of us to order a plate. Do they allow you to share a meal so that a person has room for the volcano dessert or do they have a min per person charge??

No minimum. We have one here in town on the Riverwalk. I see groups come in just for the volcano and have never heard it being an issue. DH DD and I have split their big appetizer combo. It has chicken strips, southwest eggrolls, calamari and hot crab dip with tortilla chips. I think it's about $15. Lots of food for two or three. And with a volcano? Roll out of there!!!

We just did this this past weekend. Well, DP, DS & I. Appetizer combo and the Volcano. Now DD is jealous she opted to go to a friends house instead. I think we'll be going back soon.

We always share meals at RFC. We get the free appetizer with our Safari Club card (we always get the crab dip, it's soooooooo good) and then we share a Maya's combo. DBF loves the coconut shrimp so he gets those and I get the chicken and we share the ribs. Then if there's room we share the volcano. I was thinking that next time we would do the free volcano and get the appetizers for us to share.

We ate at RFC on Tues. the kids and I split the app. combo, my dad & step mom split a ribs, steak, shrimp combo ~ we all shared a Volcano! I joined the Safari club which gave me $5 off the app. combo (I could've got a different app. for free). They'll also send me a $10 gift card/certificate for joining the club which costs $15 to join, I suppose we'll go again ~ I wasn't super impressed with our app. combo. (Chili's is better)

We've got one out here at Woodfield Mall in Chicagoland. It's no problem to share- as portions ARE big-- it's VERY common to see fams splitting- especially those volcanos!! So share away, perdy!
