? Sharing a meal at Sit Down Places ??

Trying to finish the last of my places to eat for our 10 night stay here in a few days. I am trying to save $$ this trip but I would like to try some nice places to eat and split a meal with DH. Do the waiters make you feel well, cheap, you know what I mean ! The meals are always so big anyway and we will be doing 3 meals a day with one of those being a nice sit down other than fries and chicken strips.

One of the places I really want to go and split cheese soup and something else is Canada for lunch. Anyone split a meal there ?, Big portions ?

My family of 6 always split meals. My husband will order his own,my son(12) and I will split and I will order two meals for my three girls(10,8,3). I like to order dessert so the bill still gets expensive. We plan on going to Le Cellier for lunch also. Plan on splitting the French Dip,trying the soup and signature dessert combo. I can't wait!!!!

We split several meals. The waiters didn't seem to mind. We just ordered and told them how many meal credits that we wanted to use or if we were just going to split something. In fact, at Sci-Fi, the waiter brought half a burger on one plate and the other half on another.

Apparently, this is a pretty common practice at WDW--just tip appropriately.

My Dmom and DD8 do this all the time. We always make sure to tip the waitstaff a little extra for splitting the plates

Thanks everyone! That's great to know. We will need to share some of our TS meals on the dining plan in order to do a dinner at Jiko and the Spirit of Aloha show!

I see no problem sharing meals at Le Cellier. With the cheese soup however I would say you would just be sampling it if two people shared it. It was a very small bowl.
