Hi everyone,

Sorry to crowd the board with another shares question!! I've spotted something called Halifax sharebuilder and I wanted to know if anyone here had used it? I'm looking at investing just a lump sum in DLP, is there a minimum amount you need to invest in order to get anything as a shareholder? Anyway, opinions either way greatly appreciated!

I'm not a finacial advisor but I'd guess that this product is a monthly saving plan to invest in shares. There is no way I'd call Euro Disney shares an investment :rotfl2:

You need 2,000 shares for free Shareholder Club membership :)

Hi Queenie,

I have a Halifax sharebuilder account, and reids right it is a monthly plan. I put mine in a ftse 100 tracker [hope thats the correct terminology] and they take a direct debit each month to invest in my preferred way.

Funnily enough I asked them about Eurodisney sca shares as well - but they didn't deal with them at all. I bought my Eurodisney shares through Hargreaves and lansdown - 0117 988 9880 and found them extremely helpful, I hope this is still the case with the shares now only trading on the french market. Anyway you could give them a ring - their charges were very low!! :goodvibes

Good luck Kaye :goodvibes
