Shareholders Card

Hi I renewed my shareholders membership in June and on the 12 June got an email saying this about my membership card:

you should receive at your home address in the next few weeks.

How long does it normally take to get your new card. We are going to DLP in a few weeks, see ticker!

Know it is early days but almost a month since got this email and just getting worried that my card has got lost in the post. How long have people normally had to wait to get their new cards?

Was in Disney store yesterday and had to resist buying anything as had no membership card.

Know I am rambling but just want my membership card to look at in my purse and give me a little bit of magic everyday. I know I am mad.

it won't be lost in the post, don't worry. It can take anything up to 6 weeks plus for the card to actually arrive (they are printed and laminated in batches). If you get to a couple of weeks before your trip, and your card still hasn't arrived, you can call the shareholders club and ask them to email you a temporary shareholders letter which you can use instead of your card until it arrives.

You could email them now and ask for the temporary certificate to be emailed to you. You can then print this out (A4) and use it in your local Disney Store for your discount now as opposed to waiting for your card.

Depending on how busy the Shareholder's Office is, will depend how quickly they email you with the temp one - normally quite quick but at least you then have something you can use .

I am still waiting on my new card coming after getting my email confirming my renewal on 8 June - I had just assumed that they hadn't done a batch and it would be here soon. If I haven't heard anything in a couple of weeks I will chase it up.

Just wondering if your card has ever turned up as I am still waiting on mine - I have had another item of post go missing lately (tickets for a sporting event) and am wondering has my card gone the same way - will be 6 weeks from getting my email re my renewal this Friday.

Hi. My card has not arrived yet. So hopefully they have bothh not got lost in the post.

I renewed my membership last month too and I'm also waiting for my new card.

I recently renewed mine it took around 7 weeks to arrive, like you all I was very impatient and starting to panic, sit tight hope they show up soon
