Shareholders card renew

hi, I just wonder if anyone renew their card recently... I've got my 100 shares with Halifax and asked them how can I get confirmation and got this replay:

Our team will be able to request your shares be converted to a certificate and sent to your registered address. Please be aware that there is a charge for this service.

I dont need my shares to be converted to certificate, dont I what did you send as your proof of having 100 shares? I will give them a ring on Friday but if I know what to ask for it would help

in your online Halifax sharedealing account you should be able to log in and print off your shareholding yourself, with no need for a certificate.

I will try that thanks... it just I remember someone saying DLP didnt want to accept it as it was online print but I guess I have nothing too loose and my card expires in July so need to sort it out...

You get your statement online which they accept as I gave renewed mine without any problems

Don't know about renewal (though no reason why that should be different) but when I joined I just sent them a PDF printout of my shareholding statement off the website. No problem whatsoever.

Same here too this is what DW and I send. In fact we will also be doing it this month as our expiry date to Club Actionnaires is next month.

And don't forget to upload your photo to the web site.

Hi, I just wonder if anyone else renew recently? I'm still waiting for my new card, sent them email last week asking for update but only got blank email with temp certificate attached

It can take upto 6 weeks and sometimes a little bit more depending how busy they are

My DD renewed hers recently and hers took nearly eight weeks to come, I think they do them in batches so some people's come really quickly (mine came in less than two weeks last year) but others take longer.
