Shared transport at Xmas

Hi all

we're travelling to DLP for Xmas and we'd planned to get TGV, however the TGV times are finally online for this period and they don't really suit our return flight time, plus more expensive presumably due to Xmas period.

So we can get the earlier than anticipated TGV to airport or rush like mad to get from later TGV to get through checkin with our one piece of checked luggage (yes we do need this one piece of checked luggage)

OR we can use shared service like RS Transport - I remember this one from an earlier thread but can't remember others. This option would also be cheaper...

My questions are:

1 how long before your flight do they get you to airport? Is it for the opening of checkin?

2 What is transfer time?

3 Are there any supplements for using them at Xmas - 24th Dec and 27th Dec?

We are using CDG.

Last time I used a shuttle service I said what flight I was catching and he told me he would pick me up at 6pm for a 9:20pm flight (although this was Orly which I think is an extra 15 minutes or so journey). We were there before check-in even opened but I'd rather be hanging round the airport than sat in traffic worrying we'd be late.

I don't know about supplements for the Christmas period (we used Eurostar the Christmas we went) but would think these would be clearly marked on the rates page?

ETA: Just found an old email from a previous holiday and we were picked up 3 hours before a flight from CDG.

Thanks Elaine - just the uncertainties of something new. Have now booked and yes it is scheduled for 3 hours before departure time so we shouldn't be late!!

It's cheaper than TGV by almost £80 too for those dates!! I still would have got the TGV for the return if the times had allowed us to spend extra time in the magic without having to turn into Usain Bolt to make checkin in time. lol
