Has anyone heard that they are not going to allow people to share meals on the dining plan.

We figure if we share a few TS meals then we will have enough to do Hoop Dee Doo which requires 2 TS per person! I am certain that there will be enough food when we share as in the past we have shared meals using Q & C vouchers.

Anyone have the low down on this? :confused3

I've read reports to that effect. Clearly, Disney is aiming the dining plan to be used by folks in a very traditional manner, each person eating the specific number of meals purchased for that person, etc. It'll be interesting to see how they operationalize this change.

My travel agent said he got 2 different answers when he called Disney, but he contacted his Disney Sales Rep and was told this, and I quote:

"Honestly, unless its a buffet, if the person who has the meals (credits) orders, then we can't really dictate what she does with her food once it arrives at the table. So if she orders an appetizer, entee, desser, etc and grandma just gets a soda and eats off of her daughters plate, we can't stop that. We will charge for every person that sits down at a buffet."

Hope this helps.
