i right all the time and i good at it to. my grammer is good and my friends tell me that i spell good. ive been righting sense i was like 6. i like to think that comeputers made me good at it cause im always on the comeputer. if it wasnt' for comeputers i woodent right like i do now.

i love writing. its what saved me in high school. it kept me going and kept me trying. im a detail nerd and tend to "over" detail things. i love using metaphors and similies, all that jazz. id love to be a writer, preferablly "specializing" in the early teen (tween?) genre. i also write fanfiction for kingdom hearts with a co-authoress.

i (we) usually get ideas from something we heard somewhere, or maybe a favorite period in history. we sometimes have funny things happen to us in "daily life" that we laugh about and go "hey, we should put that somewhere in the "such-in-such" story", and what not. i usually take a favorite subject and run with it, such as, i really adore faeries, and so i have created a fairy with interesting perks and happenings in his life for an on-going tween series. it'll do the typical "teach a lesson, but keep a low profile about it" thing. somethings we have used in stories for "basis ideas" are:

-mermen/mermaids
-ancient egypt/ goddess bast(bastet)/cats
-pregnancy/childbirth/raising children
-blindness/retinal detatchment
-story about "life"
-drama department/beauty and the beast
-poison/betrayal

the best way that i can suggest to get ideas is to keep all your senses open. there is nothing right or wrong to write about, its freedom of expression so dont let insecurities and butterflies get in your way. another way i get myself writing, is by taking a "word" or "phrase" challenge where youre given a list of words or phrases to use in a short story or to inspire a short story. i have composed one myself and can post it here if you like.

keep trying, keep dreaming. nothing can stop you from telling your story.

And I NEVER finish what I start- unless it's for an assignment, my writings never get finished.


I sometimes write fanfic (nerd alert! lol) for Buffy, Angel, Lost, & Harry Potter.
I never put any of them on website though, just keep them to myself.

I also write what are supposed to be lyrics, but I never put them to music, so I guess they are just poems.
I usually share them with one of my friends who also writes poetry, we give each other tips/compliments & stuff.

I used to write stories like it was going out of style when I was little.
I have stories on my old computer that I wrote when I was like 9-10.
It's really fun to look back on them.

I'm taking this class nexy year called "writer's craft" which I'm really excited about. Should be fun.

I've written a lot of little stories, and a lot of papers, for school. I love writing poetry, I've written about 40 + poems, it's just like my thoughts though, I get every thing down on paper and then it's no longer inside my head driving me crazy. I'm also writing a story, about a teenage girl who goes to a summer camp all summer long and before she leaves home she gets into this huge fight with a guy she really liked. But then she meets this girl who she becomes GREAT friends with, and then she meets a lot of different guys, but only likes about 2 of them...It's basically just one of those teen drama stories...lol..and so far it is about 50 pgs. long,(only half way done) and it's been a lot of fun writing it. Needless to say I love writing! xD
