Sorry if this exists but I am trying to build excitement as I wait for my 7 mos booking window to open :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I'd love to see photos of your room, the view, the boardwalk itself... everything. :cool1: When we finally do book it will be our first time every staying there so any hints of hidden gems or just general suggestions for a newbie will be appreciated.

I would love to see and hear tips too..my dd and I are going for the first time Sept 8th. We have a 1 Bedroom Boardwalk view and are soooo excited!!!!

Seems the BWV veterans are being shy today :lmao:

just trying one more bump... i hope someone bites... where are you BWV lovers??? Are you all at the villas right now? :flower3:

you will never run out of things to do at the BWVs

start your morning by getting up early, grabbing some delicious baked goodies from the bakery...bring them back to your room, and watch the BW come alive from your BW view room (it's an amazing view, the best of any WDW resort).
stroll over to EPCOT when you feel like it (like just for a grey goose slushie), making sure to take your time and enjoy watching the people, birds, and scenery. walk thru the gazebo just for fun (and maybe a quick hug as you gaze over the water with your honey), over the bridge, and thru international gateway.
and/or walk over to DHS (just like EPCOT, you can take a friendship, we just love the walk). play with the bunnies, squirrels, ducks, etc on your way. enjoy the beautiful quiet before you go thru the DHS turnstiles.
and make sure to soak in the hot tub, as your kidlets ride the awesome slide and play the games set up at luna park pool. we especially like the quiet pool, where you can bask in the sun , while the kids play games in community hall (free dvd rentals for DC members inside).
at night, watch the various street performers, maybe play a few carny games, enjoy dinner and some great beer sitting at a table on the BW at the BRG...
then enjoy a few drinks and make new friends up in the belle vue lounge.
end your day by sitting on your balcony, watching illuminations (with a gorgeous view of spaceship earth and the eiffel tower). look at the envious faces of those looking up at you.
and more...
don't forget to use the rocking chairs on the balcony off the lobby, and read a book in the quiet enclave beneath it.
play tennis, shop, eat at the different restauants, go over to the BC beach for movie night.

enjoy yourselves at the most stunning resort in all of WDW (and elsewhere:))....

heheh you should take up writing promotional material for Disney ;)

Thanks for the hints!

My one tip is when taking the bus back from AK, get off at Swolfin, (whichever comes first?), and walk across the bridge back to BWV. Otherwise you have to sit through stops at Swan, Dolfin, YC, BC and then finally back around to BW.

Otherwise enjoy. We love BWV. The location is great, and the BW is so fun at night.

Thanks! :) I am still trying to decide if I aught try my luck in attempting to get a standard room when we go... honestly we aren't the sit idle in the room types so view isn't necessarily a make or break it for us. I've love to get one of the special corner standard rooms.

The corner standard rooms are only dedicated 1 bedrooms. There are 3 of them.

There are a couple of large Boardwalk threads on the resort board:
