Every trip I got to WDW I spend at least an hour talking to at least one CM and on my last trip I was talking to a CM at the entrance to MK, her name was Mary. It was cool she told me some insider stuff, and I spent like 1 hour 45min to 2 hours talking to her and I actually think that I may have gotten her in trouble from talking to her so long hopefully I didnt, but it was her first day on the job and she was supposed to work the parade, but ended up having to do entrance duty, and she told me after talking to her that I had made her day because I spent the time talking to her when I could've been in the park watching Wishes and Spectromagic. It was cool to make a CM's day

Well, it was kind of funny when we were checking into the BCV's, and we were waiting for our villa to be ready. I went to check, and 2 CM's jumped out at me "Welcome Home! Have a Magical Day!" and I screamed! Good thing my bladder wasn't full! They apologized, but I just laughed - I'm sure I was tense from all the travel.

Back in 05 Dh and I went on a long vacation to Disney world to have some adult time after an 18 month deployment thanks to the Army. He was wearing his unit tshirt in the lobby of the POFQ and one of the CMs noticed and started talking to him because he had been in the Army and had served in that same unit during his time in. He asked what he could do for us and we were trying to figure out how to get to the mini golf so he took us in a Disney van over there! We came back to our room later that day after telling everyone how nice this CM was and on our bed in our room was a signed picture of Minnie and Mickey with our names on it in a photo frame! We didn't even remember telling the CM our last name so he must have done some digging to find out our room! It made a very special trip for me and my husband even more special to know someone would go out of their way like that!

In March of 2008 we took my DD then 3 and DS then 9 months to Disney for two days after my husband had finished 4 months of training for his job. He had been in Georgia for the entire four months and to celebrate we went to Disney for two days. We had no expiration tickets from years ago that we planned to use for the days. Long story short, there was a problem with the tickets so on the second day we went up to the window at MK and asked to purchase three one day tickets. The CM in the window was asked how long we were going to be at Disney, then she played with my kids for a few minutes...saying hi, and just being cute with them. Then she told us that our dreams had come true for the day and she was granting us admission for the day at MK!!! She said to enjoy our magical day and had us fill a form for the free admission. We were SO grateful that we were just in shock. It was such a magical day and we will remember it as our special first trip always! We made sure to write a nice letter about her later that day!

Last trip, DD was wearing her Cinderella Ball gown and a CM asked her for her autograph. It made another Kodak moment.

A few years ago, we took the Family Magic tour at th Magic Kingdom. Our tour guide, Dave, from Chicago, made the tour extra special. He made sure to include every person in the tour as part of the tour, and made the experience great even for those who were a little over the projected age group. I don't know what the CMs get paid to conduct the tour, but it isn't enough. Dave was a very special CM, and we made sure to send a note to laud him and his performance. It may be something he does everyday, but he does it so well and makes it seeem so special, everyone in his tour feels how special he really makes it for them. A very special CM, for sure

A month ago when we were at the MK, my DS (who is a huge Lego fan) found these Lego sets of the different "mountain" rides back in Frontierland. We convinced him to wait to purchase them till we got to the front of the park, we figured they would be at the Emporium. Well, they did have all of the sets except for the one he really wanted. The CM at the register said that all of the sets they have were out on on the shelves, so if we wanted the Splash Mountain set we would need to go back to Frontierland and get it. A CM who was roaming around the store overheard the conversation and offered to go the back way to get one for us. This was gladly appreciated since this would have probably taken us a good 20 - 30 minutes to do plus not to mention it was about 90 degrees out that day. He returned 10 minutes later with the set already in a bag and told us everything was taken care of. We said OK and thanked him and proceded to the cash register to pay for it. He followed us and said, "Nope, this is already paid for. Have a magical day." I immediately thought, "only in Disney". This very simple act of kindness is exactly why we love going there so much.

We got really lucky at DHS this summer. When DH and I walked towards the turnstiles, a CM (Annie-never forget her!) said she liked our shirts and asked us if we wanted to open the park! We really got to talking to her, and she pretty much convinced DH that he wants to be a CM when he retires lol. She was so nice and helpful and even convinced me to try out for AI. We found her later and told her thank you a million times, and told her how the audition went. So awesome!

We also met up with a Photopass photographer who recognized us as the openers. She started talking to us, and even took some PP shots that she doesn't normally do. So fun and cool!! Turns out her husband is a PP photog too.....AND they're from my hometown area! They both went to school around where my parents went, and turns out her hubby's daughter was my Sunday School teacher's wife from back in the day. So that made it even more fun

This was at DL but still counts. We went in Jan for DD's 6th bday. She and I were spending her gift card in one of the stores behind the Emporium. The lady behind the desk was super duper nice, asking DD all about her birthday and all that. After ringing her up she told her to wait a minute. She picked up the phone and dialed a number and gave the phone to DD and it was Goofy wishing her a Happy Birthday! It was a fun way to end her day.

I've also had a CM give me a coke b/c her card scanner wasn't working and I didn't have any money on me. And the guy at the desk at the AllStar at midnight who helped me track my bags that hadn't arrived yet.

As a former college program worker, it is wonderful to work in a place where you can do nice things for people without having to ask first or be scolded later. I remember I was walking from one location to another and passed a kid who had just walked away from an food stand and dropped his big ice cream cone and was crying. It was wonderful to be able to walk over and get him another one. It made my day as much as it made his.

On our last trip this past February, somehow my mom's luggage got misplaced with Magical Express. She didn't end up getting it until the evening of day 2! Obviously she was put-out, but we aren't the kind to make a big stink about things. When the CM, Tom, who had been working with Mom on finding the bag, finally brought it to her, he also brought us balloons, a stuffed animal for each of the 3 of us, and upgraded our passes to park hoppers. Well, how nice! Mom was feeling very positive about the way the whole thing was handled and we went on with our awesome trip.

Fast-forward 4 days, and it's now our last full day at the World. I started to get sick that day , so I headed back to the room while Mom and DD had dinner at Chef Mickey's. When I got there, I was shocked to see that our room was totally decked out in streamers, balloons, and the most darling balloon animal creations all over, even in the bathroom! When they came back to the room, DD was THRILLED!! My mom figured out it was Tom who had done it, because he had mentioned to her he likes to make balloon animals. The fact that he even remembered us 4 days later and did that sure made us feel like super-special VIP guests, and really added an extra touch of magic to our trip. It's not their job to do stuff like what people are posting, it's in their hearts, and I love them for that!!!

Thank you everyone for your memories that made me smile, cry and just feel good all over.....

I'll give you 2:

in 2002....DH & I got married at WDW...and blended our families...my DS10, his DD9, and DD8. We all rode RNR with the exception of DD9...who was afraid to. Later we were at the BIG Chalkboard / wait times with rides and DH was talking to DD9 about being afraid to ride RNR. A CM overheard us...and also talked to DD9. She brought us to RNR, talked DD9 into riding WITH HER...and walked us up right to the front of the line...and then afterward ... gave us their picture riding! DD9 LOVED it...and has been a Roller Coaster LOVER ever since!

in 2008...last trip...we were all at ToT Fast pass lanes....our fast pass time had not started...AND we had a ADR that would prevent us from using them in the time alotted....a CM overheard us and Brought us straight to the front of the line of ToT! I have a great pic of her ...and DD ...with her ToT CM demure smile..... She gave us one of those "magical moments" certificates.

This past Summer my son decided to adopt the JC as his ride of choice and wanted to ride it again and again and again every 10 minutes for the rest of his life (ok, this vacation). So for four days or so, we spent more time on the JC than we have in the past two years combined and the CMs started to notice. I was more than impressed and surprised to see how they started to take to Cameron. They did the normal allowed him to steer the boat and etc, but what happened on our last night of the vacation was the most magical thing I ever witnessed at WDW short of his mother telling me she wanted to have a baby after 14 yrs of marriage (but that is another story).

The boat was about to pull out of the dock and a supervisor Melissa poked her head and told Cameron that she needs to see him after the boat returns to the dock and then smiled at me. I was wondering what was up, but what happened I could never have guessed.

Ten minutes later we arrive at the dock and Cameron gets out and starts to run back into line, it is late and he knows he has only 4 or 5 more rides tops before the park closes. But, Melissa yells to stop him and calls him back. There standing with her was another "boss CM" and a lot of his friend skippers he met over the past 3-4 days. She asks him if he thinks he can be as funny as they are and can do the spiel as good. He replies with an enthusiastic - YES! The pixie dust was sprinkled and Melissa told Cameron he would have to show them. Justine pulled out an official Skipper hat for him to wear and the loaded the boat with all and any Skipper who was not needed at the docks for his crew. Then the boat was turned over to Skipper Cameron for a once in a lifetime Jungle Cruise for the Skippers.

I was in tears of joy watching him living a dream of being a Disney CM even if it was for only ten minutes, but that memory will last a life time. I could not thank the CMs enough for what they did. And Cameron was so thankful he wrote them a letter saying how nice they were. This is the true spirit of Disney magic. I read a lot of negative comments about the CMs, but this group of young mostly CP CMs made this particular trip his best ever.

A few years ago when my family and I got back to the Contemporary we once started talking to one of the Club Level Cast Members. Anyway for whatever reason we asked if anyone has ever requested things like drinks not offered in the lounge and we were told yes. So my mom gave an example of a drink like Diet Cherry Coke, because earlier that day we were at a Walmart and she wanted to get one but the machine was sold out. So we are then told he can get it for us, but my mom said you don't need to and she was serious. Anyway we then went off to the Grand Floridian and when we returned a 6 pack bottle of Diet Cherry Coke was in our room. Well we were surprised in a good way because like I said my mom was serious that he didn't need to get that for her, so the next time we saw him my mom said a very nice thank you.
