Shaping up for 2.0

I started out with the WW @ Work program, and let me tell you about the leader I had. He was on the WW program 5 separate times, gaining the weight back and losing it again. After the 5th time, he said he needed to stay tracking for good and to be sure he's kept all the good habits.

But it doesn't matter that you've done the backslide if you're willing to do the work to bring yourself out of it. :hug:

Thanks! Try to avoid the new signature pic I just made. I am going to the food and wine festival, and so I'm calling it Gluttonfest this year. I thought Heimlich will be a good mascot...and perhaps serve as a reminder. ;)
 
May I join in the "fun" ?

I did WW over a year ago - got to goal and from then on - the weight has crept right back up. I HAVE to drop 30 pounds ( i think - i'm really afraid to get on the scale ) - :sad2:

I'm so ashamed of myself for letting this happen AGAIN.

So........ today is Day #1 :cheer2: I will not look back - I will look ahead - and tonight I WILL look at the scale...

O.K. guys I have not been around for a while.
I have been at the gym.
Today is a day off for me from the gym and I planned it that way.
I can hardly walk, and my abs are sore.
I went up 2 pounds at my last weigh in, and I think that is a combinaion of working out at the gym and my leader says it is also because I worked out right before weighing in. I won't do that again.
So this week I am looking for a large drop.
Wednesday is weigh in day!
I will post then.
Keep up the good work guys.
By the time we meet up with each other we should all be alot thiner. :cheer2:

WTG on getting back to the gym, Katherine! Did you get a new car?

I did 20 more min on Wii Fit today, and I played at least 30 min of tennis. I don't really count the tennis as exercise, but I figure it is better than spending that time on the couch, so I am mentioning it for now. ;)
 

yep..sure enough I went out again for another jog this evening...temp of 93 :eek: ...but down to a more tolerable 92 by the time I finished :lmao:
have to love summer I suppose :rolleyes:
 
Just finished my morning walk. We walked 3.5 miles this morning. Temperature wise it wasn't bad, but the humidity was heavy in the air this morning slowing our pace. We are expecting severe weather this afternoon.

I went out to eat last night and just ate way too much...which got me to thinking that I need to weigh in...and...

It was really not good. But so not good, that it put me in a position to join this crew and renew my WW online membership!

I am considerably overweight and really need to knock this out.

OK - I did it..... got back on the scale :scared1:

it wasn't as bad as I had thought - not good mind you, but not hide under a bridge like a troll bad.

I've gained back 23 pounds - :sad1: :guilty: BUT that means I have kept off 47

I got on my treadmill and walked 3 miles last night and went back to WW on-line this morning.

I'll be doing my weekly weigh-ins on Mondays.

Ok, was looking at my pics from the cruise and decided I need to get back in the grove of hitting the gym and getting some pounds off (I was 65 down from the all time high but have gained back 30 of them, I blamed it on turning 40 and going through a bad breakup but it was mostly chocolate chip cookie dough) I was able to actually maintain on the PCC 1.0 (I did not use the elevators and always used the stairs to burn some calories) So I talked a friend of mine into joining a new gym that opened up close by and now I have a local to make me feel guilty for not going. I have been lurking on here and decided I might as well have some Dis friends to prod me along as well.

So count me in... 30 to go...
 
Well, at this rate, the Podcast Crew won't have to plan ANY activities!!! We can all just stand around and admire each other! :hug:

Awesome! I am doing WW online, too! Keeping off 47 is GREAT! I have pretty much gained all of mine back. :headache: So, I get to start over. :rolleyes:

Ok, was looking at my pics from the cruise and decided I need to get back in the grove of hitting the gym and getting some pounds off (I was 65 down from the all time high but have gained back 30 of them, I blamed it on turning 40 and going through a bad breakup but it was mostly chocolate chip cookie dough) I was able to actually maintain on the PCC 1.0 (I did not use the elevators and always used the stairs to burn some calories) So I talked a friend of mine into joining a new gym that opened up close by and now I have a local to make me feel guilty for not going. Cookie dough is so evil - I had two of the sweetest little girls at my door a few months ago, selling frozen cookie dough for their cheerleading trip - THEY WERE MONSTERS in disguise :eek: I bought 3 tubs - not realizing they were individual frozen cookies that you can just plop onto a cookie sheet to bake. Needless to say - they also plop into your mouth frozen as well - everytime I walked past the freezer, they were calling out to me - finally gave them to my neighbor - I swear I heard them in my sleep :lmao::lmao:

Congrats on maintaining while on the cruise - :thumbsup2

Was there a "formal" group of DISers - who walked or jogged the promenade deck while on PCC 1.0?

Got another 20 min of Wii Fit in today. I am sticking to that for the rest of the week to see how my foot does. Will increase to 30 a day next week if it does ok.

Speaking of Wii Fit, does anyone know how to add other activity to your calendar? I know you are supposed to be able to, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. I've even looked in the manual. I am sure I am just missing it somewhere.

just got in from a jog of a little over 2 miles...am drenched, 92 out with a zillion perfect humidity...crazy thing is that I am not even going to be able to take a refreshingly cold shower, its been so hot lately that I cant even get cold water in my house...its all room temp or warmer :headache: oh well, at least I will be clean, right?
 
Well, my lunchtime walking partner is in the hospital recovering from an appendectomy! :scared1: And with her out, I'm left picking up her working which means more time sitting in front of a computer. I'm really going to have to work extra hard these next couple of weeks.
