Thanks for that I usually did it at night in the past I think trying something different would be good. I guess long as I get it done is a good start.

As for a goal... speaking from my own experience, come up with something attainable that can be maintained.

Oh if I lose 77 I am going to still be really overweight but I have to start somewhere. Today at the doc he was talking about lap band surgury and last week the endocronologist was talking about diet pills ... :scared1: So ya thats when I said I know I can do it without all that or I am certainly going to give it a good try. Better food choices ... more moving... and Dis Peeps!!! The secret to success. I have never taken before and after pics because the after always seemed to quickly turn back into the before quicker than I could find the camera it seems :lmao: Maybe I should do that too I dunno. :confused3 At least all this focus I plan to have on achieving my goal might take my mind off the fact that the PCC is still a long long time away. We are going couple weeks ahead and might be driving it this time for the first time and it will be our first ever cruise. So it will be a trip with some new "firsts". I am excited!

Well things are going good so far. Or course it is only the second day but been eepin myself busy. Today I was in the basement sring cleaning and dusted off the exercise equipment (Literally) and said to myself ... I said, "Self.... this is saaaaad...sad...sad...sad." :sad2: I used to be on it everyday 7 days a week. I had a pattern going. It had become to be a piece of cake. Didn't need modivation it just happened. It's a shame I am trying to figure out what it was or why I would EVER have just givin up doing that. I know I had trouble with my feet but that was no excuse there was so mucch other stuff I could have been doing. Anyways just my 2 cents for today! How is everyone else doing???

I am director of a small public library. I have plenty of administrative tasks to do in my office. Sometimes stressed. That is when and where I snack. When I am out with the public, I don't snack. I need to organize my life so I can be out in the public more. And make sure that my snacks are scheduled with healthy food, not mindless eating.

I know what your saying. I am not a public snacker either. I do most of my snacking at home. Mind you I am not much of a snacker. My biggest enemy is condiments I swear. If asked what my favorite food was I would probably say mayo. I could put mayo on anything. :guilty: I had celery and mushrooms for a snack yesturday it was pretty good. Not a snack I had in may many years. I just noticed in my previous post I was refering to exercising becoming a "piece of cake" !!!! What an odd referance! :lmao:

I have been thinking about the time of day for exercise. I do both.
After dinner is hour walk or hour of water aerobics or hour at gym with weights and treadmill. It'd just when it fits in.
Mornings, for me, is for sleep. I don't think the day should begin before the sun gets up. Last summer, I started walking 30 - 40 minutes soon as I got up. Some mornings, I swear I was walking in my sleep! When it got dark and cold, I switched to playing with my brand new Wii Fit Plus for half hour every morning. Soon, it will be time for outdoor morning walks again.

Just need to control the eating!

It sure does sound like you got your exercise routine down...that's where I struggle. My plan for today was to get up and do the treadmill in the morning. However one thing lead to another and I didn't get to it till the afternoon but I still did it. I am only starting at 30 minutes a day. Maybe I should be doing more than that. I guess thats wat I need to work on. I got Wii Fit Plus but I still haven't opened it. I should at the very least open that up and add it to my 30 minutes of walking.

First of all I would like to start off my saying CONGRATS to you Tiggerbell that is fantastic!!!!! I bet those jeans feel great!

Today has gone well so far! I did my 30 minutes on my treadmill. Then I did an additional 15 minutes on the Biggest Loser for Wii as a little extra. I know to most that don't sound like a whole lot but it is quite a bit for me being so outta shape... :upsidedow I may do another 30 on the Treadmill tonight I will see about that though. Today I through my orthotics in my shoes to help with some of the pain. Although I know before when I would use them in my shoes on the treadmill the weight pounding on the hard orthotics that have absolutly no give was causing alot of discocmfort after. Today I stuck in another insole ontop of the orthotic for a little extra cushion and it seems to be okay so far so maybe that is going to help!!!! :) The eating is going great, so is the water intake. Soooooo if I can keep up with and keep increasing the exercise a little bit week by week hopefully I will start to feel better and notice some changes for the better in the way things fit. I like Tiggerbell have a couple pairs of those jeans stuffed away just waiting for my to hop into. How is everyone else doing today???? Chat night tonight I hope I can at least catch the end of it we have to go to the outlaws...I mean inlaws tonight. :lmao:
 
All went good today!!!! Nothing to really report! Kept on track. DID NOT want to do the exercise but I did my 30 minute treadmill walk today anyways.... but I REALLY REALLY did not want to do it. At ALL!!!! :guilty: But I did it and it's done. That's all for today. Hope everyone else is doing well! I will report my weigh in's on Mondays. Have a good night all!
 
We went out for dinner... again! I like to cook and make healthy meals. But my guy likes to go out. He has a bad back and is not up to big vacation travel. He likes best to make some vacation time every week. His way of doing that is eat out often. I always bring home at least half my meal for lunches at work. We go for walk around town for at least 30 minutes after dinner.

Eating out is nice break. I like how you take half home. I have not made it a habit of doing that everytime in the past but will have to start I think. Especially at some of the places, they give alot. A nice outdoor walk is good. I can't wait for summer walks again! :)
 
Okay it was an alright day except I pulled out the Biggest Loser game for the ol Wii today!!!! All I can say is NOT coordinated AT ALL!!!! I stepped to far back on it while doing some ridiculous log cutting thing and I almost went backwards off the back of the balance board!!!! Had it on its back 2 feet !!!! :lmao: Oh how embarassing!!!! :rolleyes1 My dog was looking at me like easy woman!!!! Oh my. So I tried to follow that for almost half an hour and realized it wasn't doing much for me so hopped back on the ol treadmill for 30 minutes. Eating was good....I hope!!! Atr out for the first time since I started this and hope I made the right decisions. I tried to be generous when estimating the calories :teacher: but one never knows when your not cooking it yourself. It can be a whole lot worse than it looks.
 
Hi all!

Been gone to the city all day. ( Oh my that makes me sound like a redneck!!!! :lmao:) Anyways been gone all day and had to eat out again!!!! Twice actually. I think I did REALLY well in that department (Mainegal I brought half home!!! :banana: ) but skipped the exercise today :sad2: I am much to sleepy to do it now it's after 1 am . I should have done it this morning before we left I know I should have so I have no excuses. So my plan is to do an hour tomorrow instead of the regular 30. I hope I stick to my word!!!!

But for me I call this an accomplishment because it's an hour that I didn't do in the past. Yippeeeeee for Trisheeeeee!!!!
