And I USE an expensive salon treatment, Kerastase, on it, after every time I wash. I tried not using Head & Shoulders, or using it less, and my scalp is so itchy & raw now.
I think half my hair fell out from itching it so much.

How much do you want to spend? I am cheap, but I would splurge a bit for softer, smoother curls.
I need one for dandruff. (Since people are giving recommendations.)
I currently use Head & Shoulders: for dry scalp. But it is turning my hair to brittle straw. And I USE an expensive salon treatment, Kerastase, on it, after every time I wash. I tried not using Head & Shoulders, or using it less, and my scalp is so itchy & raw now.

I also use the styling cream on occasion, but normally just stick to my Potion 9.
BOTH OF YOU - I don't know if you do or don't but you shouldn't be washing your hair every day. Your curls will be better - your dandruff will be better.
And - both of you - because of curls and dandruff - should be moisturizing your scalp? Are either of you using a leave in conditioner or (what I mentioned in the other thread) Moroccan Oil? You really should. You'll see a huge difference.
Moving on....
Have you tried Matrix Curl Life? That's one of my favorite curly shampoos. Very moisturizing.
Why do you *need* one for Dandruff? I don't think you do. My g/f had terrible dandruff, but her scalp needed more moisture. I'd use a better, moisturizing shampoo/cond.
for thick, medium-coarse, curly hair. I can't find a shampoo I really love, any suggestions?
BTW, no perm or color.

I've been using Nexxus products for over 20 years, and now they're being sold in stores. I switch between Sleektress and Therappe. Both very nice and smell wonderful.

I'll have to go try it.
I do rub conditioner all the way into the scalp. But, a couple people have mentioned mine is the whitest scalp they've ever seen.
I love Potion 9. Loooove it. If they ever stop making it, I will cry.
Mousse, Gel, etc - are all things of the past - styling creams all the way.

I use All Soft by Redkin and love it!
