Shampoo: bottles or dispensers?

I read they were planning to change out the shampoo bottles in all the villas for wall dispensers. Does anyone know if that has happened yet?

We did a split stay trip last month. Our 2BR at SSR Grandstand had the wall dispensers, but our 1BR at VB still had the individual bottles.

Thanksgiving, SSR Paddock 2 bedroom had individual bottles....sounds like it's getting phased in and they hadn't made it through all the buildings yet.

Maybe I'm not clear on what the dispensers are like, but how is this different from any soap dispenser in any public bathroom?

it's not, those are also a germ factory. Last touched by someone who just went to the bath room, BEFORE they washed their hands.

To further clarify my comment #3 above, the wall dispensers were located 1. IN the shower and 2. adjacent to the bathtub and had shampoo/conditioner/body wash. No wall dispensers by the toilets or main sinks, we just used the bars of soap that were provided in individual boxes.

Are the shampoo, conditioners and soaps in the dispensers the same or have they changed brands? (H2O products make me break out in hives)

True, but so was the lock on the stall. That's why after you touch it and the soap dispenser, you wash your hands and use the paper towel to open the door on the way out. I'm actually a little bit of a germophobe, but these dispensers do not bother me. They can be cleaned with a Clorox wipe just like the door handle of the bathroom. Just stayed at BRV and the previous guests had to open the door of the bathroom before they could wash their hands, just like we had to. My point is after you use the dispensers, you wash your hands. Problem solved.

I stayed in BCV and BWV December 9-17/18 both had the 2 oz tubes of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion along with the bar soaps.

Same for AKV-Jambo back in Dec of '18

Also note though, AKV Jambo (and I assume Kidani too) is running a bit differently than the rest with ceramic plates, bowls and cups in the Studios. I wasn't sure if they were planning on keeping individual toiletries too (they do look nice on the counter, LOL)
