We're staying w/friends who are DVC members @ Bay Lake Towers...is there Disney shampoo, soap provided or do we need to bring our own? Also, when we check in will we get charging privileges on our room card? Thanks!

Yes, Disney provides soap and shampoo. And at the BLT, since it's deluxe, you'll find various other bathroom amenities as well!

They do provide it but it will only be enough for a couple of days. When you stay on points you do not get mousekeeping so the shampoo will not be restocked. I always stay on points and I always bring my own stuff including bathsoap, shampoo, conditioner etc.

You can setup charging privledges on more than one card so you can use yours and they can use theirs.

You can get charging privileges on your key card if your DVC member friends allow it. Charges you make will appear on the final bill that they get, however - they won't be separated from their charges. So you need to talk to them first!

This is not true anymore. We stayed in a two bedroom at BWV in Sept 2011 with another couple. We were both able to put our own CC card on our KTWC and we both got our own bill. I did not see their charges and they did not see mine. This has only been possible for about a year or so though.

You will have more than enough soap, shampoo, etc... and it will be replenished on day 4 of your stay.
