Shampoo at Pop?

We have never stayed at one of the value resorts and someone told me that they do not offer the little bottles of shampoo that we've always had in the other resorts. I would be so disappointed because that to me is one of the little things that make Disney magic for me.

All Disney hotels(to my knowledge) offer the little shampoos, conditioners, lotion..etc. We stayed at PoP last month...We were given alot of them!

I stayed at POP in aug. and we got soap and shampoo as well as when we were there in 2004. The only thing we have not gotten either trip and I don't believe they put it in the rooms at the value resorts is lotion. However they have put it in our room for each deluxe resort we have stayed at and I will find out next week if they put it in the rooms at the values.

We have gotten the shampoo bottles in the past when we stayed at Pop. For a while some of the All Stars had the shampoo on the wall but I think they went away from that as well.

For a time, several years ago, the All-Star resorts used wall mounted soap and shampoo dispensers. This proved to be unpopular with guests. They once again now supply the little Mickey soaps and shampoo bottles.

The soap's fine, but do other people think the shampoo is as bad as our family does? We don't even bother bringing it home any more, because it's one of the worst shampoos I've ever used. Can't figure out what's wrong with it, but the free shampoo at Motel 6/Red Roof Inn, etc. is far superior.

Always struck me as a sour note -- seems like something that would be easy enough to get right, considering the mass quantities they deal in. I'd certainly be annoyed if I were paying rack rate for a deluxe and they couldn't even give me Pantene quality shampoo.

I didn't like the shampoo either, it dried out my hair. But I did like the soap.

Well, for my kids anyway. I think they will like it. Unfortunately, we had the opportunity of using the wall mounted soap. It was the worst thing of the trip.

Now I'm excited knowing they will enjoy this simple thing.
