Liked this! Especially for a snack credit! I was just expecting it to be a hot dish and mine was cold. Kind of like a tuna salad but with Lobster.Lobster Roll:

OMG I can second that. I did ask the CM what was in it. I remember " bourbon, some kind of bitters and cherry something".I also got my Sazerac which I had wanted since I first read the Food and Wine menus. It was the VILEST, most DISGUSTING drink I have ever tried. I took a sip and thought, I have had tastier cough syrups. I tried another sip hoping it would grow on me. It didnt. I guess I am just not a bourbon kind of girl. Charles wouldnt even drink it for me. So disappointing.

2 weeks 2 days at the GFHi, Jo! Good point about it being easier to save up for the Beach Club at a later date! When are you headed to the World again?
Thanks! I think the lobster rolls are pretty much a regular thing at Food and Wine!
Hi, Kathy! Yes, you should definitely check out the other trip reports -- JenJolt and ILuvCrush are doing theirs together, and then 2xcited2sleep has one from hers. She has lots of pictures of Jamie Deen over there.
Happy Thanksgiving! I am dying to share the resort choice, but I have to put a deposit down first.
Hi, MeMom! Yes, we do pot-luck with the in-laws -- we do brunch at my parents' for the parade and then, we head over to Charles's sister's house. I am bringing green bean casserole, Indian Corn casserole, and pecan pie. It's very much a New England-type spread since his family is from Vermont, so I have to bring a little bit of the South to it.![]()

OMG I can second that. I did ask the CM what was in it. I remember " bourbon, some kind of bitters and cherry something".The CM also warned it had a "kick". While I loved the dragonberry coladas, I felt mine was weak alcohol wise. Well now, don't I sound like the alcoholic!!

Now on the other hand I DID finish mine( never let anything go to waste). I had to "shoot" it to get it down. Eyes watering and all. I think I chased it with the bread puddingIt did have a kick if you could get it down! I would not get another one though. Unless I had a cough, but cough syrup does tastes better

Happy Thanksgiving Jackie!!!
Hi Jackie,
Sorry I'm a little late for your big choice. We just got back from Disney today. Yesterday I went to AKL for a little while and couldn't stop thinking about you.
That's a dinosaur I know I'm lamefor resort. I stayed at all the Epcot resorts except YC and the bus transportation STINKS! I have a whole lot more to say but I'm not going to. For the busses all 5 Epcot resorts SHARE! Only one bus every 40 minutes. Yea, not my cup of tea. Maybe you could do WL for a week? Or show Chelsea pictures of The Poly and CR and maybe she'll make that her 2nd dream resorts. I'm probably no help.
Happy Thanksgiving
I had thought to get the lobster roll in October, but then I didn't. We only did F&W one day, and I was full after just a few things. I have to makes better plans next time and go back multiple days. That and the crab cakes now move to the top of my list for next time. Praline Bread Pudding stays up there. It will not be bumped!![]()
I'm anxious to see how this trip starts, changes, and ends up.![]()
That's good that you have two different kinds of meals on Thanksgiving, so you don't get tired of any one thing. I've never been to Vermont, but I have seen pictures of its beautiful countryside. Does he still have family there that you visit? Our preacher's wife has family there, so they visit once or twice a year, and he always comes back and tells us how very beautiful it is.
Enjoy your last official day off. The weekend doesn't count; you would have had that anyway. Do something fun and special today to make the most of this 'free' day! Or just do nothing, and that's awesome, too!![]()
I am all caught up. All of your food pictures look so good. They are making me hungry despite the fact that I know I am not. The bread pudding looks so yummy. I can't wait until you announce your plans for next year.
I can't wait until I have definite plans for next year.![]()
I know. I am trying to decide if I want to move my trip up to May or leave it for November.
Happy belated Thanksgiving Jackie!
I love your Dismeet photo!...so fun...

sigh...what to do about the Chelsea B-day dilemma...
I'd probably go with the GF if that is really her fantasy resort...(you have the pin code...she is only going to become a teen once...you are right on the monorail...with the MK only minute a way...plus all the restaurants and the great bakery for cakes...etc...-it would hardly be a hardship for you either...![]()
Having said that... my favorite resort is probably the Beach Club...for all of the above reasons...but come on...it's not like you aren't going back right?
Happy choosing...![]()
BTW-for what it's worth...
I was just reading Anita's thread and was reading one of your posts about GF/BC and Emily happened to walk by and I asked her opinion...
She prefers the BC now too but she thinks you should give the birthday girl what she wants...so she votes for the GF for Chelsea...
(she also mentioned she can't wait to read about Chelsea's b-day...I'm not sure if she realizes her own trip is starting to be written about right now...)
So she is supporting a younger soon to be fellow teenager in her quest...
Hope you had a very happy Thanksgiving, Jackie! I'm looking forward to hearing your resort decision. You've got the proverbial horns of a dilemma, but what an awesome dilemma to have! GF or BC? While you know where I firmly stand, you absolutely can't go wrong with those two choices.![]()
