Hi there Jackie, hope you are enjoying your break! I think all of your food looks divine, especially that bread pudding!
Although I have to admit that I'm a little bummed about your dates. I know you will have a smashing time.
Even though I'm not much for a split stay, I really like the idea of spending the majority of your trip at Beach Club then heading to the GF for Chelsea's birthday celebration.
That sounds dreamy!

Jackie I had the exact same decision with my up coming trip, I've always wanted to return to the GF (I stayed there the year it opened when I was young) but I love the look of the BC plus the location is great. I eventually decided to go for the GF as I can save up again for the BC and it won't take as much saving as the GF Whichever you choose I think Chelsea will have a fantastic time!

And YAY! To know I am not a BTG at WDW... That was a relief! I have only been an ATG in Italy... (American Tour Group.... ) I promise we are not like that abroad!!!!!

If it were me? I'd pick GF simply because it's Chelsea's birthday so her dream resort would be the perfect choice. I also hope that it's never my child's fave resort because I am not that fancy. LOL!! Have fun planning this one!

The Bread Pudding looks decadently good. I gained weight just looking at it. That drinks looks too thick to be good.

Wow - I am really far behind! That is such good news regarding the pin code. My guess is that you booked the GF. And like so many have said, I don't think you can go wrong with either resort. Of course, if it was me I might just have to go for the beach club. I don't know what it is - there is just something about that beach club.

I love that you got to meet all the girls. That is such an awesome picture of the four of you!!!!!!! I am so jealous (again) that I was there before everyone else but C. Oh well - next yer!

I'll add my two cents about your 2010 trip... even though it sounds like you have already decided. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to stay at BC - it's one of my dream resorts - possibly the top of my list. So for me the choice would easily be BC. However, if you & Chelsea have been dreaming of GF for her 13th birthday, and then the pin code came along, I think you have to go with GF.

Hi, Anita! I am bummed about the dates and missing everyone in June! I wish I could get the same price and be able to meet up with you! I don't think anyone is going at the same time as us. That really bums me out.

Hi, MeMom! Yes, we do pot-luck with the in-laws -- we do brunch at my parents' for the parade and then, we head over to Charles's sister's house. I am bringing green bean casserole, Indian Corn casserole, and pecan pie. It's very much a New England-type spread since his family is from Vermont, so I have to bring a little bit of the South to it.
