Gee I have not been very talkative lately have I?

Ok back to planning.

Here are the updates.

The costumes are coming along great. Mad Hatter came in today. We have Alice. Mine I'm really worried about. Its not here yet. The seller on Ebay was 100% positive feedback and she keeps saying she will ship it out but I told her I needed it for a trip and I told her we were leaving earlier than we really were just to make sure it came in BUT she has not shipped it yet.

What can I do, anything? I purchased it on 9/7.

The white rabbit costume is made except the tail. THAT is proving to be harder than origionally thought. I figured it would be easy. Turns out the size of the tail came out to the size of one of Jake's butt cheeks! I may have to make it smaller!


I booked Kona Cafe for Jeff and I during the Pirate Cruise for the kids. Thought it might be a nice break for us. I'm not sure the kids would really enjoy it so I dont feel bad about them missing it. Besides they will be on the pirate ship mateys After that we plan on hitting a hammock until they are done, with one of my lovely cupcakes from Captain Cooks of course.

So now we have 5 TS booked the whole trip including Kona Cafe.

I see they are offering free dining during most of our trip for Visa card holders. Well, we dont have a disney visa but if they do come out with a general public code for this I'm on the fence. I want to make my decision before they announce it, if they do at all so I can call right away and snag it if we go.

Right now we have a great deal at POP. I think our room rate is $55/night. Remember we are not TS people. I know the free dining would be a larger discount though so we could be TS people BUT would I have trouble getting the other TS's ADR's needed this late to cover all the extra days.

NoSamantha update

She is up to her usual tricks.

Oh, nevermind my purple fuzzy sock on the floor in the picture.

She definitely knows something is up. I pulled down a suitcase tonight and she practically sat on it. I'm having dog guilt. She knows each time we get these out she will be lonely. I tried telling her she will be at Grandma's but she looked at me like I was nuts or like I had excess spaghetti sauce still on my face she wanted to lick off. Its hard to tell which one.

Anyway, I'll have 2 weeks of pouting. I should put the thing back up just to save her some worry. Poor dog.

Actually, poor me. She handles these things this way. She will worry then she will rebel. First it will just be biting chunks of toilet paper rolls. This is annoying. Then it will be stealing food. This is normal. Then she might start getting bolder and open the fridge and rummage through the leftovers. I kid you not there!

Gotta love her. Today she got a popcorn bag stuck on her head. I wish I took a picture. It was a sight to see.

Then you understand. Its terrible. I guarantee I'll go broke on treats before now and then with my guilt and she knows it. She just knows. she's laying half on top of one now. I feel bad. I should put it up. I want it down though!

My dog is always opening our little pantry. Sometimes she gets lucky and there is a cereal box partially open she sticks her nose into and gets stuck on. That is always funny. She eats us out of house and home. I swear we go through a 40lb bag of dog food every 2 weeks!

Most of the baby trees have survived. Jeff is out there everyday, probably singing to them! I think a couple died but he said the rest are ok so far. Keeping our fingers crossed!

I'm going to start this weekend but won't fininsh unitl the night before because my kids are still wearing some of the clothes we are bringing. Anway I think free dining will be released to the public. maybe you should call and see what kind of ADR's you can get and book them in case. You probably won't be able to get Le cellier or Chef Mickey's but you should be able to get something. Pop for $55 a night is a great deal. I paid $130 in March but that was a preferred room.

Ok so I hadn't used a quote in awhile. Let me tell you not many quotes are DIS friendly thats for sure.

I'm not psychosomatic or telepathic or psychic but I had a feeling. I had this feeling this morning for some reason to go outside my front door before it was light out.

I head out the door check the little Bistro set on the porch and there is a box. Is it my costume? NO too small. I'm trying to focus through my sleepiness. What else did I order? Is it my crown? No I never ordered that either. Whoops. I may not have a crown, that will have to be ok.

I'm so excited. Except now I'm annoyed. My new video camera has been sitting all night on my front porch. Not even up by the door mind you. Just like the driver stuck it on the first thing he/she could and ran.

In his/her defense maybe he saw NoSamantha!!!

I'm done with my annoyance and ready to bust into this and check it out. This is SO EXCITING! I tried to take a picture of it but my regular camera battery is dead. When i get that recharged I'll have a picture up!

I need to pack thats for sure. I love to pack. its the exciting part. Unpacking, not so much. I will get over my dog guilt the first time she does something awnry. I say it will be in about 3 hours from now. We should start making bets.

Sounds like things are all coming together! Yay! for packing - I always get so excited when I start packing! I know, I'm pathetic!
By the way, why is your ticker saying 3+ years? Have I missed something?
On the subject - I would say go for free DDP!
We're not really TS people, but I force myself in WDW. (I know, I'm a saint ) I don't book all these TS ADRs in the deluxe resorts for sheer nosiness, oh no, it's just to use up all the TS meals . Then after the meals, I don't walk about them pretending I am actually staying there, not at all, it's just I'm trying to find the toilet.
But more to the point, have you seen all the stuff you can get as a snack on the DDP!
I'm havin' me a Dole Whip and a Dole Whip float, and an ice cream cookie, and a funnel cake and a bear claw, and a fresh made crepe and a chocolate mousse. And if it's free, I have it on very good authority, it's also CALORIE FREE!
And we'll be there during the F&W festival - free wine tasting, I'll need to be carried out of Epcot!

Loved Morgan's packing list. Kaylee has added to hers a few things like Ipod, Gameboy, DVD's for minivan and AG doll since I posted it. We have a long ride she can't forget that stuff LOL. I sure hope you get your costume in time, I bet you will. You have less then 2 weeks





And we leave in exactly 2 weeks. This time in 2 weeks well be checking into a hotel in Georgia. I hope we have good weather and not too much lovebugs .
