Shady spot in MK to watch afernoon parade?

Can anyone tell me where a shady spot to watch the Share a Dream Parade? Traveling with neice who is sensitive to sun. We have sunscreen, hat and sun glasses. We just don't want to risk standing in the sun so much This is her first trip to the World and of couse she wants to see the parade. Thanks!

It seems to me, but I'm not CERTAIN, that one year we were across the street from Liberty Tree Tavern and I thought that if we had been across the street next to Liberty Tree Tavern, we would have been in the shade. That general area has trees though, so you might be able to find a good spot around there. I think my dad sat on a small stone wall behind us and it was in the shade. Sorry this wasn't a tremendous amount of help--but maybe it will jog someone else's memory!

I believe that Pecos Bill's also has a shaded area. This is just down the street from the Liberty Tree.

Your best bet is just to keep your eyes open earlier that day, and when you see a spot that is bound to be shady, make sure you get there early!!

The porch area in front of Tony's and the camera shop will provide shade and some comfortable rocking chairs. You are not right on top of the parade, but you can see just fine.

We sat at the top of Main St. just as it hits the circle and noted that the other side (left) had a lot of shade from the trees. Also, I believe the inside of the circle in front of the castle has some shaded areas, but folks will pile up in front of you. Make the time to find a place early b/c the shaded places always fill up first!

We sit on the top floor of the train station. It was shady there, you do have to sit there awhile to get good seat though
