Has anyone stayed at Shades of Green? If so what did you think about it...would LOVE to know some more details than the web site provides :goodvibes

I just returned on 10/25 and have nothing but GREAT comments! If you have specific questions, just let me know!

I have a question. We're going this weekend. From Deb's website it says SOG has full service laundry, just use the bag in the closet. I emailed SOG and they said they don't have a full service laundry. So, which is it? Does anyone know? I really didnt' want to spend time doing laundry. We're leaving SOG and going on a cruise so we'll need clothes cleaned. I stayed there in '98, but dont' remember since I didnt' have to do any laundry for one week

WE stayed there in Jan.......not sure about full service. I do know that if you stay on the 3rd floor in the new section.....the laundry room is on that floor. I found it easy to get it done..........I did it twice when we stayed a week...........it has lots of washers and dryers. I just put on 3 loads at a time..........WISH I COULD DO THAT AT HOME. I did it once when we came back to the room for the kids to work on school work...and another time when we got back from the parks early one night.

Love SOG can't wait to go back!!!

If your staying in the Old section, it is quite a walk to the buses so give yourself extra time.
I stayed in the old section on the first floor and found it odd that I had to go up and then down to get to the busses. You would think they would have a way to walk to the busses without going through the lobby.

Love SOG! It's the only place I stay when we go to WDW. They have a large laundry area, washers, dryers, and folding area. You can bring your own detergent/softener or purchase the singles in a machine there. Hope this helps.

I would trust the direct response from SOG. I did laundry this last trip and it worked perfectly. I put a load or two in...go to the pool...switch over in 1/2 hour...then back to the pool...wait 45 minutes then (and here is the only down side) put .75 more in the dryer because the clothes were still damp. I usually gave it another 20 to 25 minutes and the clothes were all dry.
