I know they do the Fl residents /military memeber annual pass for 289 A but dose anyone know if they do a Fl residents/military memeber seasonal pass ? and if so how much it is for adults and childern ?

thanks for your help

I can answer the first half of your question- yes, you can get a seasonal Florida resident's annual pass through SOG. I did it myself about 6 months ago. Go to the "Made In The Shade" shop (currently located in the Contemporary North Garden Wing) and show your military ID. They give you a voucher that you must take to the ticket booth at the park enterence to exchange for your Fl Resident Seasonal Pass.

The discount is fairly small- somewhere between 10% and 20% off the usual cost of a Florida Resident Seasonal Pass. But those passes are cheap as dirt to begin with, so it is a GREAT deal.

Enjoy!

Do you have to be a Florida resident or just millitay?

Thanks so much i am calling shades of green today or in the morning . depends on this baby inside me .. UGGGGG !!!!

Anyways as far as the seasonal pass you have to be Fl residents to get the fl residents discount . If your military you can also get a discount . I just find it great that if you are BOTH you get double the discount . Sounds great to me . And as sson as i find out the prices i will post them !

To get the FL Resident Seasonal pass you have to be a resident of FL. To get the military discount on the FL Resident Seasonal Pass you have to be a military member who is a resident(and has proof of it) of Florida. This is a really good deal for military members stationed in FL (and there are quite a few bases there) ;) HTH

Slight correction: Members of all seven uniformed services are eligible to stay/purchase tickets at SOG, not just "military".

In addition to the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, this courtesy is extended to members of the Coast Guard, Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service, and Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration who are on active duty.

If you happain to be a member of one of the seven uniformed services who is a legal resident of Florida (even if you are currently stationed elsewhere), you are eligible for the Florida Resident's Annual Passes. But be prepared to show a Florida Driver's license.

Ok SEASONAL fl residents/military rate is 184.00 flor adults and 155 for childern that includes tax. Its good from 1 year . And has black out dates . those are Apirl 14th -24th june 7th - aug 14th and dec 20th- jan 3rd . Also you don't get free parking with this pass but if i am not mistaken you do get alot of the annual pass holder discounts . Someone correct me if i am wrong .

This is still a great price if you can plan two vacations around the balck out dates .
