I just read on their website that you have to be 100% disabled to go there if you are a vet. I am waiting to see if I am getting unemployability at 100%. If I get it I will get an ID card and commesary privlidges and the like. I believe I will get to use MWR too. Does anyone know if I would qualify for this. I am 70%now but with unemployability I would be rated at 100%. Thank you for helping me out. would love to go there if I get it!

That's how I understand it.

thank you! I was trying to see if unemployability at 100% was the same. I haven't been awarded it so I am jumping the gun. I would LOVE to go there if I can though.

ty :) I am just awaiting the results now, impatiently of course.

I called SOG a while back and they pretty much said that as long as someone in the party had a valid Miltary ID card, then you can stay there. They also said that someone with a Military ID can sponsor a certain amount of rooms so if you have a friend/family member that is may be going, this would also be another way. Good luck! FYI-You can also get the cheapest park tickets through ITT (vs Disney, Under cover touris, etc). They sell them at SOG also but I could never find out their prices.

I hope you get it! My husband is retired military, but also had issues with health problems and had to fight to get 50 disability. It has to be really really serious to get 100%. The VA doesn't like to qualify someone at 100 unless it is major!

UPDATE!!!!! I did get the 100% unemployability and I was real happy with that!!!! I wasn't able to get an ID card because I wasn't 100% permenent and total. Well I had another evaluation and I am now 100% permenent and total!!!! It was such a surprize! It has been a lot of years sense I have been out and I have to say I feel a bit more at ease..

I think I remember reading somewhere that as long as you have been honorable discharged (even without retiring or disability) you can stay in Jan or Sept.

Congratulations on getting the 100% and being abke to stay at SOG. Though I'm sure that you wish that you were ineligible to stay...meaning that you weren't disabled. Thank you for your service to our country.

My husband was just rated at 100% in May. He took his letter and DD214 along with 2 forms of Id to a nearby Reserve center that does IDs and got his. I am going to go next week and get one also. He checked and I am also eligible for one as a spouse.

In June we went over to shades of Green and purchased the military salute tickets and asked about his eligibility to stay there. He is eligible!!!!
