Hey all long time no see. First off, sister married a Marine, he is currently deployed, however is the Shades of Green an option for us still? She has a dependent ID card. Assuming it is, is it worth it? I know that only military can stay there, I am 18 years old and she is 22, would the social scene be the norm of other resorts or not? Also, someone mentioned to me that tickets can be bought with a military discount, does this make PAP not the best idea anymore?

If not let me ask you where you think I should stay. I have been to the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, AKL, Wilderness, all the All Stars, and Dixie Landings (while ago). Wilderness, and Poly were probably my fav but the pools and people around at the All Stars are nice price considering. Thanks a lot, all feedback is welcome, now time to catch up on reading all these forums been too long. Should I stay in one of these or should we try something new? Don't want to hotel hop, lazy. :teeth:

If your sister has a military ID, she can book the room, and yes you can stay with her. She can also purchase your tickets at a discount. I have not stayed at SOG, but we visit while we're in WDW. It seems to be a very nice resort...........
