Shades Of Green --- Busses

Hello,

Does anybody know how well / often the busses run at Shades of Green? I understand they have their own fleet.

The bus service is seasonal so the number of times it operates per day is going to be based on when you're there and the number of guests in the hotel.

I believe the bus only takes you to the TTC where you can catch the monorail to MK and EPCOT or other busses to other destinations in WDW.

The bus to the TTC runs every 15 minutes. There is another bus that goes to AK, MGM, maybe the water parks - not sure, but I think it only runs about once an hour.

According to another site, there are 2 different bus routes:

Bus A leaves every 15 minutes going to the TTC, to catch monorails to Epcot and MK.

Bus B leaves every 30 minutes, stops at AK, then Blizzard Beach, then MGM. It is about 45 minutes to MGM according to the site.

For our trip in Sept, I think we'll walk to Poly to get the monorail to MK, take the bus to TTC to get the monorail to Epcot, take Bus B to AK, and drive our own car to MGM.

In April of last year there were separate buses for MGM /TL and AK/BB.

MGM and AK buses leave SOG every hour, starting at 8:30am, on the half hour.

They leave the parks to go back to SOG every hour starting at 8:50am and make stops at the water parks every hour on the hour before getting back to SOG.

That's great to know! I got the other information off AllEars, I think - they must have expanded the bus service. I am so glad - I was thinking it would be a long ride to MGM if we had to go to AK and BB first. Thanks for letting me know - it's so great to be able to get more updated information from fellow DIS-ers!

Allears appears to have not been updated in a while. The last time the room rates were updated was 10/01/05.
We have always been at SOG in April and last year was Easter so I am not sure if the bus schedule is different at busy times of the year.
You are right that would be a long bus ride.
