Are there sun loungers that always in the shade on deck 9 (ie under deck 10?)? Specifically looking for an answer w/ regards to the Magic. Being Irish and German I burn VERY easily, but I like being able to snooze on deck in the shade. I know deck 4 has the seldom used loungers that are in the shade, I just prefer to be on the pool deck too. RCCL had some that faced the ocean which were perfect for me!
TIA

The loungers are in the immediate area around the pools. Not much shade until the sun gets at a low angle. Behind the loungers, there is a walking area and then (under cover) there are tables and chairs.

Thanks for the quick reply even though that stinks for me!!!

Actually, on the Magic, in the Quiet Cove pool area, there are nice padded loungers under Deck 10 that are in the shade all day long. They're on the port side up front, nice and comfortable!

Yes, I forgot those. I will point out that sometimes they are not out. At least there were a few times on our cruises they weren't.

It's been a couple of years, but the only problem with the padded loungers (which a very comfortable and built for two, and face the ocean) is that it is glassed in on that side, so not very breezy. (Also, too close to the pastry case in the Cove Cafe :thumbsup2).

I have never seen a time when the loungers were not out in the adult area. There are lounge chairs in the adult area that are always in the shade. Those area are not as open and breezy. There are loungers on both the port (left) and starboard (right) side of the ship on the open deck in the adult and family area. In the morning and afternoon parts of the open area will be in the shade, so you won't be in the direct sun.

In the adult area on the starboard side of the ship smoking is allowed:(

Thanks for the info!! I did see most of these images before posting the question as I could not tell if any loungers were under deck 10.
