Shade by the DLH Pools (w/ out Cabana?)

Hello! I don't think we want to invest is a 4 hour Cabana- but is there shade by the pool otherwise? Umbrellas? Trees? Looks like it is going to be HOT again next week. Also, do they have any table/ chair areas? We have some grandparents that would like to sit by the pool and they don't "lounge"--

I don't remember any table and chairs, except in the cabanas.

I am looking at images online, and I don't see any table chairs. There are a few umbrellas, adn there are a few palm trees.

We were there last week during the heat wave and winds. All umbrellas were down. However, by 1:30-2pm, the last row of chairs in the little nook to the left of the waterslide pool (when facing it with you back to the Frontier Tower) are all in the shade from the trees behind. That was our favorite spot every single day. I suggest you arrive early when it is still under the sun because as soon as the shade starts, people clue in and all go to that area.

That's odd. I seem to remember seeing some tables/chairs and umbrellas during our trip in Feb. At the big pool, there was a small area near the Adventure Tower and Tangaroa Terrace, by the bathrooms. I know for sure there was a table/chairs there. By the slides I recall some tables on the far side, in the back of the lounge chairs. We sat in the front row of loungers and had umbrellas up. I'm sure the comment above about umbrellas down had more to do with the wind and not some policy to keep shade to a minimum. Unless it's windy, expect the umbrellas to be up. They do have upright chairs around the hot tubs too. Not ideal if looking for a table though.

In the top pic you can see the 3 cabanas by the main pool, adn the bottom pic you can make out the 3 cabanas by the slides (run the roof top beam straight and those are the cabanas.). (They really need more than 6 cabanas!) I see some umbrellas with what might be tables in the far back of the slides pic.

There are a few tables near the slides pool, maybe 5-6 max.

At the left of the big trees we see, there are a few tables with umbrellas. Then to the very left of the picture is the back row that has shade around 2pm, which I mentioned in my previous message.

There were a couple of tables and chairs near the big pool when we were there last May. We sat at them.
