I'd like to have a sewing machine for basic sewing. Right now I need some Tutu's for my nieces and I'm pretty sure I could make some cheaply and they seem to be pretty expensive to buy. I've got a few other sewing projects I wouldn't mind doing also. Nothing fancy, just curtains and a few other things.
Any suggestions on a machine that is easy for someone to use that hasn't sewn at all in years. My 14yo DD did some for school this year so I do have a helper in this endeavor and my 12yo DD loves the idea of being able to sew and will probably be the one who uses it the most.
