Thank you, I still have not had a chance to read it... Well, I read it - but I have not had a chance to respond to it. Despite my auctions being over, my plate is still really full... I wish I could tell you when we are leaving, so you knew just how full it is... but August is coming quickly, and I still have 8.5 bags to make - and we will be at the lake for a week of it...

Ok, so it's been a while for me since I've been here too. I just don't get to the good ole' DIS very often any longer unless I am trying to answer some questions. This week it was: Port Orleans Riverside or Shades of Green? I still don't have an answer for myself...but POR is booked for us for our short September trip. Food and Wine and MNSSHP here we come!

So as I recall you weren't posting your trip dates for security reasons, which is certainly understandable. I want to say it is EITHER summer or fall though, but I don't think it's September so I don't think there's a chance for a DISmeet with me and my crazy crew!

We did stay at SoG for our trip in 2008, it's a very nice resort. Have they fixed their restaurant issues yet? I would consider staying there again if they have. I know they are doing lots of pool refurb... I should look to see if thats done yet too.
Nope, our trip is not in September at all. Sorry. I would have loved to meet you. We will be there sometime in August, but that is the only info I have given out.

Well...
I worked in my sewing room yesterday. I was able to quilt one of my park bags (most of it - I am still waiting for one more fabric to come in the mail). And since I am waiting on that last fabric, I am assembling this bag a little backwards from what I normally do. Thankfully, none of my park bags for this trip will have any applique work on them, so they are pretty easy. I was able to get a zippered pocket inserted into the front of this bag, and I also built the entire interior. So, now I just need to wait for that other fabric to get here, so I can finish it off. Which won't happen until after we get back form the lake.
Sadly, V and I didn't touch my 'Ohaha bag at all. She slept in, and then BFF wanted her to come up while Olivia is gone to her Dad's and help organize her livingroom. So, BFF came down and took V and Lottie up to her house.
Lottie is doing well, BTW... She is a bit of maintenance work. V really has to stay on top of keeping her cage clean, because she does make a mess and it isn't pleasant. But I am very proud of her, she is very good about doing it every day.
Lottie's personality is "pissy"... She cuddles, but not until she has hissed at you and puffed up sufficiently.
And cuddling = sleeping. LOL
Yesterday afternoon, I went to get my hair cut. Nothing major, just a clean up. It was now, or wait until our trip... And I knew I couldn't wait that long. So, it's nice to have it fresh for the lake.
My back seems to be doing better, I am babying it as much as possible still. I've resumed all of my lifting. I was up to squatting 65lbs before I wrenched it... So, then I gave up squatting for a week... Then I added squatting with no weight for a week... On Monday, I added 25lbs to my squats, and so far, no pain. I plan on bringing my weights up to the lake with me (25lbs being the heaviest I bring) and work on doing some lighter stuff while we are up there.
Then, when we come home - I will hit it again.

Disney Trip stuff: I wish I could list out our FP stuff for you all, but I don't want to start that until after we get back from the lake. But I promise I will do it then.
Otherwise, yesterday morning, I began the packing process... I have 4 things on my list that I still need to buy... My shorter black bloomers, Toothpaste (smaller tube, but not travel size), a new pack of sponges to put some dishsoap into for washing our mugs, Hairspray... And I think that's it.
I was able to find our bag of trading pins, which I thought were missing. So, that's good. V had them, in case you were all wondering.
I have all of our headgear all packed and ready to go, just waiting on the last two to arrive.
I have all of our Pixie Twist accessories packed... Just waiting on the set I borrowed to Suzi for her trip - (No hurry Suzi) just making it on the list.
I am very excited to start showing you all my outfits, I can hardly contain myself. As soon as I finish this bag I am working on, I will be able to show you the first one.
I am very excited about it... Although - it's a bit over the top, even for me. LOL I am only wearing it for our arrival MK day, so I don't want to put too much effort into it. It's bad enough I am making a bag to wear for only 8 hours...

Will we miss it? Maybe but we'd still have one pool. Plus we have premium annual passes so if we want slides...we could even head to a water park for a few hours...every day if we wanted to do so! 
Then I got involved on a new tennis team and we just ended up winning our league and would go to districts the one weekend that would fall during the possible trip. So that's out now...which is okay. Going in late Sept and then again in November *SHOULD* hold us over for a while.
