Sew much to do, sew little time - but it was worth it! New PTR link posted! ~~~~~~~~~

Glad to hear your Dad and brother are okay. That is scarey!

:flower3: Happy Belated Birthday to your daughter, too.

I haven't checked in on your TR since last week...I have a question. I can't see photos. Where there's a photo there's a box that says "Upgrade to Pro today Brandwidth Photobucket". So does that mean that I need a Photobucket account to see the pictures?

Sheila

:confused3 The only BOBs I know is a store so I yeah D... you lost me after Sketchers :lmao:

:lmao: I don't know why I'm laughing. Like you I know what Twinkle Toes are and I do remember Bob's in RI now that you mention it.

D~ YOU ARE WAY TOO POPULAR -- PHOTOBUCKET IS NO LONGER YOUR FRIEND!

You don't need a photobucket account. It means D's photos have been looked at by zillions of people so photobucket wants her to pay to upgrade since they are doing so much work for her for free -- maybe she should sent them a UPB for their services :rotfl2: The same thing happened to Judy. Peons like me aren't that popular so my photos show up just fine.

Check out that awesome siggy... bet no one has one as nice as mine???

D~

OK - so I managed to fix my siggy...

So, the plan, from here on out... I will start using my other Photobucket account for the remainder of this TR. Which is a bummer, because that means that half my TR photos will be in one PB account and the other half will be in another.

The sad part... According to my Photobucket account, my bandwidth resets every month on the anniversary of when I created my account... So, my bandwidth doesn't reset until the 7th of every month... Which means that I've exceeded my bandwidth in a mere 17 days! Ack!!!

However, I must say, that Photobucket used to have 25 GB of free bandwidth every month, when they redid their ToS last month, of course, I didn't read the fine print - but I am sure it was stated in there that they've reduced the free bandwidth to 10 GB per month! Less than half of what it used to be! Which is why I have gone over so quickly.

I have no plans to redo any of my pictures so far, but I'll start using my other accounts from here on out.

Oh well... Glad I have a few PB accounts to choose from... Might have to create yet another?

D~

before I leave you all alone for the night... :rolleyes1

I know that there were a few people that I remember telling they could use the little Disboutiquer Big Give button in my siggy, because I had resized it to be much smaller. I had told these people that they could just use the URL that I had in my siggy - which meant that they were hotlinking to my albums. I had to delete that specific photo from my album to prevent this happening in future months. So, if your siggy suddenly doesn't work - this is why. Sorry...

I am now editing that... If you want to use the little Disboutquer BG button, please right click and save it to your own hard drive, then upload it to your own Photobucket account, so it doesn't use up my bandwidth.

If I could remember who I told this to, I would just PM them, but I can't remember, so it's gonna have to be a blanket statement to everyone. Sorry.

The reason I am doing this, is because I was able to look at my image views... That particular button had 335,000 views in the last 17 days! Compared to the rest of my siggy photos which were only at 112,000 each... So that tells me, that a few other people are using it.

I sincerely apologize to anyone who was using that image, if you need help getting it into your own album and then into your siggy, please let me know - I am happy to help. :lovestruc

Yay! You're back!!!!

Oh, you are miss popularity! Even without the excess BG button views, you're still most popular. Now you can claim the UPB and UP (ultimate popularity!).
And US (ultimate sig).

You're also quite computer savvy -- very impressive!:teacher:

wow you were on page 2.

Sorry that you have to use 2 different Photobucket accounts.

Glad we will still be able to see your awesome pictures.

I had just left off at O' Canada in Circlevision... It was a good movie, believe it or not, I learned a few new things that I didn't know.

From Canada, we started working our way around WS...

We stopped in the UK for a quick snack... One order of Fish n' Chips to share. Once we found a half-way dry seat to sit in, we ate our snack and determined (yet again) that it wasn't as good as the fish at our local bar/restaurant that we always go to for Friday night fish frys. It was much slimier.

We continued around WS... Stopping for a few photos along the way...

Oooh - is that France I see?
Untitled.jpg

We were supposed to stop here for something... What was it? I consulted my handy-dandy MP, and there is was... France has Napoleons... Hmmm... Now where to I find these Napoleons?

One we found the Boulangerie Patisserie - I knew that was it. So the girls and I walked in and ordered ONE Napoleon to share between the three of us... The CM working there visibly laughed at us, and asked us if we were sharing... We told him that we were, and he laughed again - telling us that we'd be back for more. :confused3

So, we took our plate of deliciousness outside, and attempted to find a dry table (theme of the day?) - we found a semi-less-moist table under an overhang outside, and dug in...

Believe it or not, I did remember to take a photo - I figured this might be something to remember...
IMG_3890.jpg

Let me just say, if you've never had one - you MUST try it... and take my advice, get your own. :rolleyes1 We were fine sharing, but we would have been much happier not.

Once we were finished eating, we offered our semi-dry table to some people coming out with a tray full of goodies, and off we went into the France gift shop... Where we got lucky and found Marie with no line...
IMG_3894.jpg

And then the girls goofed around for a little while...
IMG_3895.jpg

IMG_3896.jpg

Then off to Morocco...
IMG_3898.jpg

We did get to meet Aladdin and Jasmine here, and I do have pictures of it on my Photopass CDs - which I am having issues with - so I can't upload them at the moment.

Off to Japan... We spent a lot of time here the other day - so we really didn't even stop.
IMG_3900.jpg

And then, it was time for The American Adventure...

We have never even been into this pavillion before. Since it was raining pretty heavily at this time, we decided to spend some time here, since I'd heard they had a pretty decent show.

First we had to stop and take some pictures of the girls with the Toy Story topiaries, and Allison just loved Lotso - so we needed pictures of him too.

As we were walking into The American Adventure, the Voices of Liberty were just starting their show, so the girls and I sat down and listened to their performance... They were just AMAZING!

IMG_3907.jpg

We listened to their entire show, and then decided to go up and watch The American Adventure show...
IMG_3908.jpg

Once up in the theatre, I took pictures of the stage, it was really beautiful!
IMG_3910.jpg

IMG_3911.jpg

IMG_3912.jpg

Now, I will say... It was a very good show - something worth seeing at least once, but maybe not more than that?

I also have to say, we were VERY tired... After 6 days on our feet with out a break. Victoria slept through almost the entire show... Allison did grab a nap... And I fought it the entire time - only because I don't think the people sitting in the theatre around me would appreciate my snoring. But seriously, I was doing the whole head bob and nodding off - I was so tired!

Once the girls had their nap, they felt a little better - they were kind of annoyed that the show was over, they would have rather continued sleeping... I think Disney would make a lot of money if they offered "nap stations" through out their parks. LOL

We kind of cruised around WS, and didn't stop much - once we got out of The AA, it really started to get busy in WS - we had it almost to ourselves up to this point.

We did stop and have lunch in Mexico at La Cantina de San Angel... We ordered:
D~: Empanadas de Queso (horrible)
A: Tacos de Pollo (not horrible, but not worth eating again either)
V: Tacos de Pollo (ditto)

We all ordered Churros for dessert (good)

I do have to say that I really wanted to eat here for our entire trip, but once we ate here, I realized that we have much better Mexican food in MN (Gulp) than they do in Disney... However, the girls loved the churros.

And, in case you were wondering - it was still raining...

We decided, at this point, even though we had just eaten a late lunch, we were going to head into Future World, and make our way over to The Land pavillion where our early dinner ADR at The Garden Grill was located. We also decided we were sick of the rain - so once we had dinner - we planned to leave the park and go back to the resort.

Tomorrow was our scheduled day off and we were all looking forward to it.

I can feel your pain. I craved Mexican so much on our last trip and finally dragged the family to the Mexico CS. It was awful. One of the benefits of staying offsite this trip will be that we can get decent Mexican!

hate that you had a rainy day.
liking the nap station idea, esp when the kids can doze off anywhere.

Yesterday did go quick for me at work... I actually got out of there early. Our training for the new lab only took a little over an hour. I will admit, it will be sooo much easier with out the chemicals. What used to take me 30-40 minutes to open the lab every morning, now will take me about 8 seconds. And my fears of doing everyone's crappy work were confirmed yesterday, I was told that "it will now be in your job description, and it will be your job to do everything else around the store"... Not that I don't know how to do these other things, because I do a lot of helping as it is... but I know what all these jobs are, and it's all the jobs that no one else wants to do. I am not sure what I am going to do from here - I am going to play it by ear - and see how it goes. Maybe I'm just no longer feelin' the love?

If you are serious about the bag, you need to send me a PM... I only have a few more slots open for this year.

Sorry Michelle... I know that I sometimes know about weird things. I wouldn't have known about Toms at all - if it wasn't for Marianne's Mickey Mouse shoes she made for her trip.

I also hope to finish the exterior of my launch bag... Which I keep getting more and more excited about. I even showed Josh the other night - and he was blown away by it... Which really means a lot to me, because rarely does he give much comment to my bags - other than he like them n' such.

If I have time, I may go back to the bag I was working on last week, and work on the applique for a little while.

I am getting anxious to start showing some of the things I've been working on.

D~

Now that Josh has you adding your sewing earnings into the budget, is Target giving you enough work to make it worth it to still work there? I wonder if there's a more "local" photo printing place that might need someone with your knowledge? Or could you just sew sew sew and replace that income?
Because, then, you know, the trip here this summer could be written off as business related :)

Speaking of slots left for bags, did you see Beth is thinking about ordering one to help ensure you make it to Charlotte this summer? ;)

Michelle - I knew about both BOBs! and how did I know that somehow part of this would get blamed on me? :rotfl2:

Awesome about Josh really liking the launch bag! I'm still in awe!!!!

Yes I did change one of my dinings. I switched Crystal Palace to Tusker House for a late breakfast. Guess I should update my trip report LOL.

I know I love calling my basement a studio sounds fancy.

Guess I should go to work :)

Heck, if I had a basement, period, I'd feel fancy! I miss basements!!!

OK - so I managed to fix my siggy...

You're so smart! I wonder how much bandwidth I'm using? Hmm. . . Maybe I should start an account JUST for my TR??? Oh, wait, maybe I should work on my TR . . .:rotfl2:

Okay- the ILs arrive on Saturday and DH & I have a lot to get done. . . I'm off to try to be productive!

Thanks for the pictures of the American area. We didn't even go near there in Feb. Will have to remedy that in July :) But yikes! That was a lot of people going up the stairs. Were they all in the theater?

And I think you should really call Disney about the "nap station" idea. Maybe you could get in on the profits. I'm sure they could charge for that service. I know a certain DH that would pay for sure by the end of the trip!

Sorry to hear about your troubles at Target. It certainly WOULD be nice if your sewing business could cover the wages you are earning at Target. Making $$$ doing what you enjoy! :goodvibes

...and the WDW rain continues! :sad2: We have never tried the food in Mexico except the churros, they really are good. We just eat mexican here a lot since it is a relatively cheap place to eat out, so we try to go for more "exotic" or different places to eat when we are in the World. Glad we have steered clear of it! :thumbsup2

Mmmm- the napoleon looks delish! (why with all the new smilies, did they NOT add a drooly face? :headache:)

Ah, the American Adventure. We have always used this and CoP at MK as our good napping spots. :rotfl:

Looks like despite the rain you had a good day at Epcot! I like that the churros at Mexico QS are served with a caramel sauce! What is in a Napolean? That was one of the last times we had rain until last weekend. Our retention ponds are so dried up. Usually I can't see the legs of the herons when they are fishing, but the water's so shallow now we can.

looks like you had fun despite the rainy day! AA is a good place to take a break! love the napstation idea :thumbsup2
sorry you didn't like the mexican CS food, I loved their chicken tacos!

I am one of "those" people who is using your BG siggy button, off to change it so it doesn't take up your space!

wow that's one rainy day! Seems like your whole family was troopers though and soldiered on! :thumbsup2 I would also like to know a little bit more about this "napoleon", as it's the first I've heard of this snack.popcorn::

Sorry you are so frustrated at work right now. Hopefully it turns out to be not as bad as you expected.

a napolean is a layered desert.

It generally has a crispy pastry layer, then cream, then fruit and repeat. Sometimes it has a cream frosting too.

There are different variations.

Hi D~ :)

Just started reading your TR.

I'm going to wait until the pictures come back, but I love to sew but am quite new to it (more of a knitter/crocheter) so I look forward to Disney photos and sewing photos.
