Sew much to do, sew little time - but it was worth it! New PTR link posted! ~~~~~~~~~

Love the new updates. I just love when the characters interact like that and I bet Goofy doesn't get as much attention like Mickey. Too bad Donald was a bad boy and wrote on his face. :headache:

YES! Thank you for posting about Doughboys! That is all I can think of when I hear about Biegnets. Mmmm - Iggy's doughboys. See, now you've got me all excited for RI food! :rotfl:

 Iggy's is the best....mmmm

I am not sure what Doughboys are???

D~

The interaction that you described with Goofy is just awesome! I love it when characters are so into it and they just make your day. You could tell from the pictures that V was just over the moon! She just looked so happy. It's those moments that just make everything so magical.

Max is so adorable! I could not stop smiling from ear to ear when I saw his pictures.

I've read your report and have enjoyed all the pictures. Your new puppy is so cute! Also love your bags! I plan to try to keep reading along with you. Sounds like a great trip so far.

See...I NEED to sew...but I don't want to! I NEED to get my house clean... but I don't want to! I NEED to get the sewing studio cleaned for a sewing lesson tomorrow...but I don't want to! I have the time...and feel pretty good (although still angry) but I just don't want to do any of it....instead I want to go out and clean the pool....and play in the sun.... and ...well you get the idea...I'm playing hooky today!

Nini

I finally found my motivation . . .or got a bee in my bonnet, either way, I'm almost 2/3 of the way done with the three Thing patches I need for this BG. . . then I need to make an art portfolio (which I may or may not cut out tonight) . . .

 Iggy's is the best....mmmm

Little pieces of fried Dough & Sugar heaven:cloud9:

Mmmm. . . I'm thinking we need at least ONE trip to Iggy's near you and one trip to Iggy's "down south" this summer. . .
Speaking of summer - did you create your outdoor sewing area yet? Save some room for me!!!! :cutie:

We just got home from our Small Group meeting . . . I'm sitting here watching the machine crank out another THING patch (currently finishing Thing 2, still need to make Thing 3) . . .

I was going to try to work on another update for my TR, but I think that's going to have to wait until I get the new to me computer next weekend. This one is still having memory issues even though I erased an entire iPhoto library AND did a bunch of other clean ups. I'm just hoping I can make it until my One to One appointment Wednesday night so they can help me get ready to make the big jump. Please cross your fingers that I can!!!!

Love your pictures of Mad Max. We don't have any puppy pictures of our labradoodles because they are rescues, but looking at these really makes we wonder what they were like. Looks like Max has hit the lottery!!!!pluto:

My goodness. . .3 days away, 8 new pages! You girls were rockin' this weekend! LOVE the updates and LOVE MM! He is so darling. The good news is the accidents are like labor pains. . .they stop and we somehow forget how horrible they were! Sweet boy! The Goofy dress is one of the cutest customs I've ever seen! I love how Goofy laid it on thick for her! Truly priceless memories. Looking forward to hearing about Japan:)

So bummed you can't get off after Thanksgiving, we'll be there from Nov 27th to Dec 4th. I would have made my trip EXTRA, EXTRA special:)

Absolutely love, the pictures of Max! What's wrong with a 70 pound lap dog? I have a 120 pound lap dog.

ROFL... Josh and I were talking about this again last night. We were all watching The Blind Side, MM had just had a bath and was laying on me for the entire movie - being a charmer... and I thought to myself that my life would be almost perfect if I could spend it like that. LOL

Great photos of your escapades. I love the Goofy dress -- have seen it before but don't think I commented.

Thanks Cheryl!

And you're wearing your shorts (capris?). Any comments from the tourists or CMs or random people?

A couple of people commented on our customs, mostly in the morning. Off the top of my head, I don't remember any other comments. Depending on where we were, we did get a couple of "looks" - but I didn't really care, we were there to have fun! :lovestruc

You all look great with your bags. When all is said and done, how was the szie for you?

Sooo... You want a bag review? OK... Well i admit that I carried my Donald UPB almost every day. Even though I had several bags with me, that was my bag of choice. There was one thing about it that annoyed me occasionally, which I could have fixed with a very simple adjustment of my strap - but I never did - but occasionally it was too deep. I really should have adjusted my strap, so my arm could reach into the bottom of the bag - but I never did. :confused3 I kept my Photopass cards in my very front zippered pocket, with my lip gloss. In the front slip in pocket, I kept my phone and camera - and since that pocket was so deep - I never once worried those items falling out. I also, occasionally, kept a park map in there. In my main pocket, I kept my camera case (with extra batteries), MP, Zippered wallet, sometimes my sunglasses and sometimes a rolled up poncho. I know I kept other things in there too - I just can't remember off the top of my head - it was pretty full though. Then I also had my carabiner clip with my little sunscreen bottle hanging off the side of my bag.

Now, if you'll remember - I also made a modified UPB for AK. I really liked the size and dimension of this bag for every day use. I made it one inch shorter than the original UPB and one inch wider. However, I prtsonally didn't like the shorter modification, because I always felt like my camera and phone were going to fall out, they never did - nor did they come close - it was just me being paranoid. Personally, I wish I would have had the time to put an applique on it. But, now that I am home, I might carry it as my regular bag for a while and see how I like it here.

As far as my Epcot messenger, I only carried it for one day. I chose to carry my Donald UPB for our first Epcot day, because it looked better with my Donald outfit. So, on the day I carried my TT messenger, it poured rain, and it really never saw the light of day, because it was under my poncho the entire time. I hope to get more use out of it on my next trip.

Then the TS carry on bag was perfect... the size was great. I am pretty sure I had it over loaded (weight wise), but it was perfect for size and pockets.

The travel organizer worked out better than I could have hoped. If I ever find the time, I really need to work on modifying the assembly of it, so I am happier with the look of the finished product. :)

great photos from around the WS...love your hair bows on your keens!

Yah they were super cute, I loved them like that! Beth did an amazing job!

for Max, sounds like he's figuring this all out! love all the cute photos of him, lots of puppy

He is really learning, that's for sure. :lovestruc He knows that he gets a treat if he goes potty outside. He also knows to sit before he gets the treat. I am starting to work with him a bit on "lay down" & "gentle". He is a very smart boy, and eager to learn, if he isn't too preoccupied with being a puppy, LOL

hope you and Patience have a great day together.

We did - it was so nice. Like riding a bike...

I'm getting :laundy: and packing done today....5 days until we leave and I have about 10% so not like me

have a great Sunday!

I hope you made a dent in your packing yesterday... Your trip is so close! Are you excited?

Victoria got a Duffy!!! You know her Goofy Duffy does not have the evil smile that Anakin's does. Love the pics around World Show case. We missed the Mickey, Minnie, Donald topiaries when we walked around the showcase. Nice to see them here!{/quote]

Yup, V got a Goofy Duffy... Hmmm, I'd love to see pics of Ani's Duffy - I am sure you have them posted somewhere... LOL

Your new puppy is just the cutest! Those pictures are adorable.

Thanks, we are definately falling in love with MM! he is on my lap now, and forcing me to type one handed...

Loving all your photos. You're getting me excited for the Flower Fest!

Yay... You don't have long to go now...

Too bad about Donald. My friend & I had the best Donald when we went to see him with our half marathon medals. It really stinks that he didn't take more care signing your bag.

It's ok - I am just glad that V got a great Goofy.

Goofy was awesome!!!! What fun!!!!

That was amazing!

Max sure is adorable! I however can't help but think Mad Max when you call him MM.

LOL, I've called him that a few times.

Hey D,

I remember a female CM liking our outfits when we went to see Daisy and when we went over to Stitch she was now over there. She had made a comment about us following her. She actually suggested us going to the Character spot because the lines would be short at that part of the day. I know it is strange the things I remember.

Now that you say that... I do remember her. She was so nice!

[I also remember you sending V off after that CM before TT to pin trade and than meeting that older couple that we were standing by before RD. I also remember you got that cute pin when we were at the shop but fogot that A bought those glitter ears.

I actually have a pic of V chasing down that CM LOL That was so funny, I was only half serious when I told her to go chase him down. LOL

[I am so glad that V got that goofy duffy bear. I thought of her the second I saw it. It was to cute that she wanted pictures of it around the world.

He is definately cute!

I've been on spring break with only my iPhone for internet access, so I just had a lot of fun catching up with your report. Sounds like you had a wonderful time so far. I'm absolutely loving all your custom stuff.

Awww, glad to have you back... I need to go catch up on your PTR! I hope you had a fun spring break!

Hmm . . .I wonder why it was so runny? Ours wasn't at all. Did you use regular or lite cream cheese? It definitely takes regular. I used 3 chicken breasts (what was left in the big bag o' chicken from Costco), drained the can of rotel and also drained the can of beans... did you drain them?

Glad, though, overall, that you liked it

I did use light cream cheese and 3 chicken breasts... I did drain the rotel too and the beans... Not sure what I did wrong? But it was good and no issue at all that I added the other stuff to thicken it.

I'd forgotten about your water bottle holder! Great idea!

Hmm . . .now, what could I mail those two little blonde boys to you in? Any ideas? They're still too young to fly as unaccompanied minors :rolleyes1 They would TOTALLY work for romps in the yard with MM and some food. They LOVE sleeping on the floor, so you could just give them each a blanket next to MM's crate. . .

ROFL... Hmmm, let me ponder that. popcorn::

I am SO unmotivated to sew today. I really need to get my BG items done and I have two Easter shirts to make for my boys . . . but allergies are killing me and I just want to zone out in my bed.

Sooo sorry - I hope you're feeling better soon.

See...I NEED to sew...but I don't want to! I NEED to get my house clean... but I don't want to! I NEED to get the sewing studio cleaned for a sewing lesson tomorrow...but I don't want to! Nini

I know how you feel Nini - I've been slacking... However it felt very nice to get into my sewing room yesterday.

I need to go stalk you and see why you're angry - I missed that.

Hi! I'm really enjoying your TR. My family met you quickly at 50's PTC. We were at a bit of a frazzled point in our day. I knew I recognized your user name but couldn't remember from where. I realized when I got back that it was from the POFQ thread.

I am sooo glad you stopped by!!! After you'd walked away at 50's, I'd written your name down on a napkin, so I could put it in my trip journal. It wasn't until we got back to the resort that night, I realized I'd left that napkin behind - I was so bummed! I couldn't remember your name at all. So, now I have you entered in my journal and I can write about our mini-meet. :)

Did you stay at POFQ too?

I just caught up on your TR today and I can't remember everything I wanted to comment on. Here's what I remember.

POFQ is our favorite resort so far and we really like the beignets. We were actually at MK the same day as you and initially had a CP breakfast reserved until we changed it last minute.

Gotta love those beignets - I could have lived off of them! Funny that we both had ADRs at CP too. :rotfl2:

Max is such a cute dog!

Thanks! He's a trouble maker though - don't let his looks fool you. LOL

Well, looking forward to your next update!

Thanks! Are you planning on doing a TR?

Enjoying your TR, D!

Max is so cute! He has really grown quite a bit just since your TR began. I'm afraid he may live up to the "monster" part of his name just in size alone! He is so cute, though, I would have a hard time getting on to him for his potty accidents!

I know, I was thinking the same thing!

I weighed him last week, for curiosity - and he was 10.4lbs. I weighed him last night and he was 12.4lbs - so he gained 2 lbs in just a week! ACK! He's definatly a growin' boy!

Love seeing all of your bags and customs that I read about in your PTR! Glad to see you guys had such a great time. We have stayed at POR several times, but I didn't learn about the beignets until after our last trip, so they are definitely on our next trip list!

Yes, you definatly need to try the beignets - sooo good. Just don't inhale when you are taking a bite, or you'll get powdered suger stuck in your lungs. We made that mistake on our first try. LOL

Love the new updates. I just love when the characters interact like that and I bet Goofy doesn't get as much attention like Mickey. Too bad Donald was a bad boy and wrote on his face.

I know... but I am super glad that Goofy was awesome for V - that was way more important to me.

Little pieces of fried Dough & Sugar heaven

Those sound good too. Do they travel well??? ROFL

The interaction that you described with Goofy is just awesome! I love it when characters are so into it and they just make your day. You could tell from the pictures that V was just over the moon! She just looked so happy. It's those moments that just make everything so magical.

I agree - it totally made her trip so magical!

Max is so adorable! I could not stop smiling from ear to ear when I saw his pictures.

Yah, he's cute and a total trouble maker. LOL

I've read your report and have enjoyed all the pictures. Your new puppy is so cute! Also love your bags! I plan to try to keep reading along with you. Sounds like a great trip so far.

Thanks for all the compliments! I hope you'll continue to follow along, I know that sometimes these threads move pretty fast.

I finally found my motivation . . .or got a bee in my bonnet, either way, I'm almost 2/3 of the way done with the three Thing patches I need for this BG. . . then I need to make an art portfolio (which I may or may not cut out tonight) . . .

Glad you found your motivation! I can't wait to see pics!

Mmmm. . . I'm thinking we need at least ONE trip to Iggy's near you and one trip to Iggy's "down south" this summer. . .
Speaking of summer - did you create your outdoor sewing area yet? Save some room for me!!!!

Oooh - save some room for me too! I've thought about doing that - it would be so nice! I actually thought about moving my machines outside the other day when I was first potty training Max - so I could get something accomplished. LOL

We just got home from our Small Group meeting . . . I'm sitting here watching the machine crank out another THING patch (currently finishing Thing 2, still need to make Thing 3) . . .

Soooo jealous of your machine... Do you have hoop envy yet?

I was going to try to work on another update for my TR, but I think that's going to have to wait until I get the new to me computer next weekend. I'm just hoping I can make it until my One to One appointment Wednesday night so they can help me get ready to make the big jump. Please cross your fingers that I can!!!!

I am sure you will be just fine with your big jump... Josh always does stuff like that for us - and he makes it look so simple. Maybe I take him for granted a bit too much?

Love your pictures of Mad Max. We don't have any puppy pictures of our labradoodles because they are rescues, but looking at these really makes we wonder what they were like. Looks like Max has hit the lottery!!!!pluto:

Welcome! I know how you feel - we never had any puppy pictures of our Rufus either, and I often wondered how he was as a puppy. Every time we saw pictures of a yellow lap puppy, we always said that's what our Ruf looked like. I hope Max enjoys living with us.

Looking forward to hearing about Japan

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing about the accidents. LOL

I love how the Goofy dress turned out too - it was so fun to create!

So bummed you can't get off after Thanksgiving, we'll be there from Nov 27th to Dec 4th. I would have made my trip EXTRA, EXTRA special

That would have been sooo cool! I would have love to meet you too! However, I am pretty sure we are planning for 2013 - so you could always do another trip. LOL

I have to work today... So, I am not sure if I will be able to squeeze in an update or not.

I'm jumping in here to offer a review of the Mini UPB. Not that I know from experience, but I "heard" this is what the lady who carried it thought. :rolleyes1

In the zipper pocket: lens cleaning clothes and some medicine
In the slip pocket: cellphone, 1-2 cameras, park map / times guide
In the body of the bag: 1-2 autograph books, pen, comb, wallet, three envelopes with small amounts of cash (souvenir money), lipstick, chapstick, camera #2 when it wasn't in the slip pocket, and a few other odds and ends that I can't recall off the top of my head

The size was amazing and perfect! There was never a worry of anything falling out. The only (slight, very slight) issue was the inside pockets. They were great for small items (lipstick, chapstick), but wasn't as easy to get to bigger items (cellphone). It worked out well, since the cellphone was stored in the slip pocket anyway. It was comfortable to carry, easy to adjust, and looked awesome on the lady. It was very high quality. At times, it seemed to be overloaded, but the bag carried it well until it could be cleaned out. :thumbsup2

Overall, the bag was rated a billion on a scale of 1-10. (It would be rated higher, but the scale broke at 1.5 million, so I just estimated.)

The lady who purchased the EQ bag would definitely do business with you again, so she said. ::yes::

I got all our laundry done and packing too :thumbsup2
megan picked out all her clothes and then made a list of what she's wearing which day depending on what we had planned...don't know where she gets it from :confused3:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

all I have left to do is the last minute things on Friday morning :cool1:
yes the excitement is finally here...I talked to my sweet SIL last night so that helped, my little nephew (Max 10) is :banana: so he'll be fun to watch!

have a couple quick errands today then home to work on a swap!

I told my mom about your Max on Sat - she trained our Tasha with treats - actually cheese, she wanted her to go in the rocks not lawn, so would take her to the rocks tell her to go while holding the cheese, a couple weeks later she went on her own then would come back in the house and sit by the fridge waiting for her cheese!

hope work goes by quick today for you :goodvibes

Thanks for the "heresay review" Liddy - I really appreciate it! :lovestruc Boy - you must have spent a lot of time chatting with that person??? Kind of jealous... She seemed nice, but every time I got a glimpse of her - she slipped behind something or into a building and I could never find her. :confused3

I am was kind of wondering about those inside pockets - I was worried that they might be a bit small... Do you think it would have worked out better to have one big inside pocket? Maybe you can ask her? :surfweb:

How awesome! and now I feel like a total heel! :sad2: I keep meaning to write a review of mine and I still haven't. Gee, my trip was only . . .
3 months ago now.

I carried a LOT of stuff in mine. Originally I hadn't planned on taking so much stuff in it, because I thought I'd also be using my camera bag, but when all was said and done, I didn't want to bother with two bags and I certainly wasn't leaving Figment behind.

Outside Zip Pocket - I carried an extra sd card, lip gloss, small pot of dream cream, tissues, and some other assorted odds and ends.

Outside Slip Pocket - maps. time schedules. occasionally my iphone in it's otterbox case (but I'm a freak and have to have it on my person whenever possible so I know when I've gotten a text message, etc.). occasionally a tall Mini M&Ms tube for pressed pennies. I never remembered the empty mentos gum tube to PUT them in afterwards though, so when finished they usually went into the front zip pocket.

Inside - sharpie marker, two ipod touch, zip wallet, water bottle, snacks (protein bars, trail mix, etc), gum, travel wipes, boogie wipes, keys, and a variety of other things depending on the day. . . I carried a LOT of stuff in this bag. I'm one of those "Mary Poppins" type people when it comes to what I carry in my purse, so feel free to imagine what you will . . . The best part was that I was able to carry the bag all day and still be okay as far as my back went. I usually can't carry anything for that long unless it's a backpack style, but the UPB was fantastic! I will definitely use it again!!!!

During the week there were only two things I'd wished it would have had. 1) a slip pocket that was fairly tall on the BACK side of the bag and 2) the water bottle holder inside didn't work that great for me because there wasn't any way to keep the condensation off of my other stuff. I know D~ has changed the design slightly and made modifications to that already, so it's just something I'm happy to deal with for having one of the very first UPBs :lovestruc

Love your reviews! Sorry it took me so long to do mine!!!!

I did use light cream cheese and 3 chicken breasts... I did drain the rotel too and the beans... Not sure what I did wrong? But it was good and no issue at all that I added the other stuff to thicken it.

I'd bet money that it was the cream cheese - LIGHT cream cheese doesn't act the same was as a thickening agent - for this recipe you need to use regular fattening cream cheese. BUT, I'm glad you liked it with your modifications!!! I love recipes like this - that we all like and that we want to eat the leftovers from :)

ROFL... Hmmm, let me ponder that. popcorn::

Any ideas yet? Maybe later this afternoon something will just come to you . . .

Those sound good too. Do they travel well??? ROFL

Sadly, no. However, Allie's Donuts (another RI specialty!) DO travel well - on airplanes, in cars, - not that I know from experience or anything . . .

Oooh - save some room for me too! I've thought about doing that - it would be so nice! I actually thought about moving my machines outside the other day when I was first potty training Max - so I could get something accomplished. LOL

Soooo jealous of your machine... Do you have hoop envy yet?

yup - come on up to RI - we can make room for you!
My new machine is great . . .I've only had hoop envy once so far and it was for a BIG BROTHER LIL BROTHER shirt design. I LOVE shirts with BIG BROTHER/LITTLE BROTHER on them for the boys but the 5x7 design would be so much better. So far I'm thinking the biggest for MY boys I'd ever need to go would be to a 5x7 hoop. . . I think it was Diane that said the 4x4 was great for boys because you don't tend to do really big designs for them anyway.

I am sure you will be just fine with your big jump... Josh always does stuff like that for us - and he makes it look so simple. Maybe I take him for granted a bit too much?

This computer is a little odd in that I have things on it from before it was mine that I had to keep (pictures that belong to my dad) in order to do my job of designing his website, etc. . . I don't want to LOSE those when I jump, but I don't want them on the new to me computer either . . .

D~

I'm too lazy to weed out all of the "extras" in the posts below, but EXCELLENT job ladies on the bag reviews.

ROFL... Josh and I were talking about this again last night. We were all watching The Blind Side, MM had just had a bath and was laying on me for the entire movie - being a charmer... and I thought to myself that my life would be almost perfect if I could spend it like that. LOL

Thanks Cheryl!

A couple of people commented on our customs, mostly in the morning. Off the top of my head, I don't remember any other comments. Depending on where we were, we did get a couple of "looks" - but I didn't really care, we were there to have fun! :lovestruc

Yah they were super cute, I loved them like that! Beth did an amazing job!

We did - it was so nice. Like riding a bike...

LOL

Thanks, we are definately falling in love with MM! he is on my lap now, and forcing me to type one handed...

Yay... You don't have long to go now...

It's ok - I am just glad that V got a great Goofy.

That was amazing!

LOL, I've called him that a few times.

Now that you say that... I do remember her. She was so nice!

I actually have a pic of V chasing down that CM LOL That was so funny, I was only half serious when I told her to go chase him down. LOL

He is definately cute!

Awww, glad to have you back... I need to go catch up on your PTR! I hope you had a fun spring break!

I did use light cream cheese and 3 chicken breasts... I did drain the rotel too and the beans... Not sure what I did wrong? But it was good and no issue at all that I added the other stuff to thicken it.

ROFL... Hmmm, let me ponder that. popcorn::

Sooo sorry - I hope you're feeling better soon.

I know how you feel Nini - I've been slacking... However it felt very nice to get into my sewing room yesterday.

I need to go stalk you and see why you're angry - I missed that.

Gotta love those beignets - I could have lived off of them! Funny that we both had ADRs at CP too. :rotfl2:

Thanks! He's a trouble maker though - don't let his looks fool you. LOL

Thanks! Are you planning on doing a TR?

I know, I was thinking the same thing!

I weighed him last week, for curiosity - and he was 10.4lbs. I weighed him last night and he was 12.4lbs - so he gained 2 lbs in just a week! ACK! He's definatly a growin' boy!

Yes, you definatly need to try the beignets - sooo good. Just don't inhale when you are taking a bite, or you'll get powdered suger stuck in your lungs. We made that mistake on our first try. LOL

I know... but I am super glad that Goofy was awesome for V - that was way more important to me.

Those sound good too. Do they travel well??? ROFL

I agree - it totally made her trip so magical!

Yah, he's cute and a total trouble maker. LOL

Thanks for all the compliments! I hope you'll continue to follow along, I know that sometimes these threads move pretty fast.

Glad you found your motivation! I can't wait to see pics!

Oooh - save some room for me too! I've thought about doing that - it would be so nice! I actually thought about moving my machines outside the other day when I was first potty training Max - so I could get something accomplished. LOL

Soooo jealous of your machine... Do you have hoop envy yet?

I am sure you will be just fine with your big jump... Josh always does stuff like that for us - and he makes it look so simple. Maybe I take him for granted a bit too much?

Welcome! I know how you feel - we never had any puppy pictures of our Rufus either, and I often wondered how he was as a puppy. Every time we saw pictures of a yellow lap puppy, we always said that's what our Ruf looked like. I hope Max enjoys living with us.

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing about the accidents. LOL

I love how the Goofy dress turned out too - it was so fun to create!

That would have been sooo cool! I would have love to meet you too! However, I am pretty sure we are planning for 2013 - so you could always do another trip. LOL

I have to work today... So, I am not sure if I will be able to squeeze in an update or not.

D~

I agree with the slip pocket on the back! I kept my camera in the front slip pocket, but hated to put my cell phone in with it because I didn't want it to get scratched, so I kept it in the front zip pocket. So either the additional slip pocket, or a small pocket on the side (maybe with elastic at the top) to slip my cell phone in would have been great. The size was perfect and I loved all the pockets inside (zippered and slip). Can you tell I like a lot of pockets!

I want a D original but I can't decide what I want on it :( I loe everyone elses bags so much LOL.

I have been busy working on my short list ;)

oh and i have no custom shirts for me for this trip because yet again I can't make a decision. Do you see a theme here ;) :rotfl:

I want a D original but I can't decide what I want on it :( I loe everyone elses bags so much LOL.

I really want one with a castle on the front, but can you believe D doesn't think she's good enough to do a castle ;) I don't believe it for a second! Maybe we can convince her.... don't you want a castle bag?! She can experiment on you, and when she gets it perfect I can order one :thumbsup2

Put me in line for the Castle bag .... that would be so great! I didn't get to "know" you D until it was too late to order a bag for my trip, so I used a 31 crossbody most of our trip. Gotta say, once I switched to a small backpack I had much better days. Just that the strap constantly felt like it was riding up my neck and was really uncomfortable. Ever consider doing a backpack?

Oh and I know I'm behind a little, but that Goofy meet sounded so fun! Didn't get to meet him this time, but he is first on my list for next time.

ROFL... Josh and I were talking about this again last night. We were all watching The Blind Side, MM had just had a bath and was laying on me for the entire movie - being a charmer... and I thought to myself that my life would be almost perfect if I could spend it like that. LOL

But you would have to pee outside and have a crazy lady do a strange dance every time you did.

A couple of people commented on our customs, mostly in the morning. Off the top of my head, I don't remember any other comments. Depending on where we were, we did get a couple of "looks" - but I didn't really care, we were there to have fun! :lovestruc

Looks of jealousy, no doubt.

This is a complete 180º from last week -- I bet you never thought you'd be saying how smart MM was when it came to pottying.

Now that you say that... I do remember her. She was so nice!

Are you talking about me again?

He is definately cute!
Talking about me again though you forget your "s"

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing about the accidents. LOL
So are you all telling me I've been in labor now for three years? Seriously, my dogs were doing pretty good until they read about MM messing all over the house -- I had four poo accidents this past week when it's usually about once a month and now I am having pee issues to -- I think that happens only when I leave as someone is protesting me being gone. If you lived with me and knew how truly wonderful I was you'd understand :lmao:

I love how the Goofy dress turned out too - it was so fun to create!
I have to say I thought the Goofy dress was uber cute when you made it, but see it on V it was even more amazing -- I think just seeing how happy she was in it really made the dress

I have to work today... So, I am not sure if I will be able to squeeze in an update or not.

D~
Sorry you have to work :( Do you need me to post some pics since you can't update today?

Wow D~ I cannot keep up with your TR!!! You all need to sloooow dooooown for this old lady! :lmao: Well, here is my attempt at some comments:

Max is a CUTIE!! :cutie: Baby boy is gonna be spoiled rotten...nothin wrong with that! :thumbsup2

Loved all the Character Spot pics! That whole love affair Goofy had with V was awesome! :rotfl2: My DH decided to take NO pictures with our camera at the Character Spot since we were using Photopass this time. :sad2:

Waiting for more stories... popcorn::

:surfweb:

D~

The pockets inside were perfect! I think it was because of the way the top zips close. It was more an issue with the top of the bag being too close to the top of the pockets. But with the reduced size in the bag, it's completely understandable. It held a cellphone perfectly (with room to spare), but when the phone was ringing, it wasn't as easy to pull it out with the top of the bag being so close. It was much easier and better to keep the cellphone in the front slip pocket (with NEVER a worry about it falling out!). I truly don't have any recommendations to improve, but the lady who owned the EQ bag was totally in love with it! (And I think having one big one would be ... too big. Their size itself were fine, it was just an issue with how close the pocket was to the top of the bag. If it doesn't make any sense, I can try to see if she'll take some pictures or something to explain it.)

Even if Snow White wasn't too impressed and her family was embarrassed when Snow White came out during a lunch at Akershus.

First... Thank you everyone who reviewed my UPB today!!! I really appreciate it. Please know that I take your reviews to heart and I am always looking for a way to make a great bag better. :lovestruc

Also, don't be surprised if I link to these at some point...

I got all our laundry done and packing too
megan picked out all her clothes and then made a list of what she's wearing which day depending on what we had planned...don't know where she gets it from

Rofl about Megan's packing abilities. Glad you are all packed and ready to go - I can't wait to hear about how wonderful it will be!

have a couple quick errands today then home to work on a swap!

Hmmm... Cheese... Interesting. I loved the story though - super sweet. Max is doing pretty well. Josh made his kennel smaller today - I've been nagging him to do that for almost a week now - because all the books tell you that if your kennel is too large, the puppy will 'go' on one end and sleep on the other. So, Josh was kind enough to make his kennel smaller today - so hopefully we won't have as many accidents at night.

I have thought about adding a slip in pocket as an option to the back... It sounds like it's something that a lot of people might like???

I still haven't figured out a way for the water bottle holder to keep condensation from getting all over inside the bag... I know how I'd like to do it - but I have not had the time to test it out. :rolleyes1

I agree with the slip pocket on the back! 2 votes for a second slip in pocket in the back... :thumbsup2

The side is a good idea for a pocket - but I just don't think it's wide enough to accomodate a cell phone? But that back would work just fine. :lovestruc

I want a D original but I can't decide what I want on it :( I loe everyone elses bags so much LOL.

I have been busy working on my short list ;)

oh and i have no custom shirts for me for this trip because yet again I can't make a decision. Do you see a theme here ;) :rotfl:

Chiara - I know I've told you - I'd make you a bag any time you want me to - just let me know. You know - for as many trips as you take, you could have more than one bag...

I really want one with a castle on the front, but can you believe D doesn't think she's good enough to do a castle ;) I don't believe it for a second! Maybe we can convince her.... don't you want a castle bag?! She can experiment on you, and when she gets it perfect I can order one :thumbsup2

I'd try a castle for you - but I think I would totally wreck it - or at least wreck my reputation (don't say a word about that AndUdy)...

Put me in line for the Castle bag .... that would be so great! I didn't get to "know" you D until it was too late to order a bag for my trip, so I used a 31 crossbody most of our trip. Oh and I know I'm behind a little, but that Goofy meet sounded so fun! Didn't get to meet him this time, but he is first on my list for next time.

I do have some drawings for a small backpack... I am really trying to decide on a size though (do you have any recommendations??)... I also have a quilted drawstring backpack drawn up... A wheelchair bag... I just haven't had the time to make any prototypes - story of my life. :confused3

Curious... what kind of strap did the 31 bag have on it, was is quilted?

Sorry you have to work :( Do you need me to post some pics since you can't update today?

Um, yah... you could have. :lovestruc You know, your TR is a free-for-all...

Wow D~ I cannot keep up with your TR!!! You all need to sloooow dooooown for this old lady! :lmao: Well, here is my attempt at some comments:

ROFL - I know, I can barely keep up myself - and I have to. LOL

Max is a CUTIE!! :cutie: Baby boy is gonna be spoiled rotten...nothin wrong with that!

Thanks! Yah, don't I know it - he is so spoiled, it's not even funny. :lovestruc

Loved all the Character Spot pics! That whole love affair Goofy had with V was awesome! :rotfl2: My DH decided to take NO pictures with our camera at the Character Spot since we were using Photopass this time. :sad2:

That's a bummer... I always take pics and do photopass. I normally don't ask the PP photographers to use my camera to take pics though - I should - but I don't. I am too busy asking them for fun poses and magic shots. :3dglasses

Waiting for more stories... popcorn::

Hmmm, stories... I don't have any. :confused3

We take MM into the vet tomorrow morning for his first vet appt... Looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time... but it will be OK.

Had a boring day at work... Did get some Skylanders bonus packs though - probably give them to the girls for their birthdays coming up. :wizard:

Better go figure out what is for supper tonight. Josh was thawing ribs - but then he put them away because he had an appointment to go do a lease signing at the duplex - then the lady had to reschedule... So, I'm thinking it will be frozen pizzas for dinner tonight.

D~
