This is a very early picture of my Silver Bengal kitten. He is about 1.5 weeks old and will develop spots like a snow leopard. Right now the breeder is calling him Gabriel. My Dh and to get this you need to be a fan of the show Heroes. He wants to call him Sylar/Gabriel Grey the villian oooohhh i don't think so. Now this is where i need your help i was looking for an asian name like i did for his sister(Taj-crown Ming-Shining tommorrow). But no luck there so help give my wildchild a name. ;)

SO CUTE!

We had a Lynx Point Siamese growing up named Sushi. :)

That is one of the cutest things I have seen in awhile! Congrats on your new family member!

Still looking and the only thought to an asian name was because they come from asian leopard. Taj Ming now 4 1/2 month old has a mixed culture name Taj(sanskrit):Ming(chinese). I'm looking for any type of name as my dh get a petition going among friends and family to name him Sylar. It's often said if you give cat a name they will live up to it and i don't want to wake to a big red claw mark across my forhead. Ohh and this does belong on the budget board as we are stretching hard to get him much sooner than planned. Many thanx and keep them coming.

Cute kitty.
I had a Lynx Point Siamese too when I was little. I named her Cleopatra, Cleo for short. I know. Not what you're looking for.

Thread title made me think this was a really serious situation about a cat. Glad its only about naming & not health issues. :)

Cute kitty! We have a Bengal who is 4 years old. We searched and searched for a name, and my son finally decided to name him Pharaoh, since he looks so royal. I am of no help with an Asian name though! Good luck!

My DD (16) wants to know if we can keep her, I told her NO:scared1:, as I have two cats too many now.
She said by the picture she looks like a Kiki, but that's only her opinion...

Too cute
every time i see a silver cat i think of Minerva - professor McGonagall in Harry Potter

as for Asian names
Nekobus was a cat in a japanese anime film My Neighbor Totoro only thing that comes to mind

OMG!!!!!! That is the CUTEST little baby!!!!!!! What a doll!!!!!! Congrats on your new kitty, I'd love to have one of those. :)

I love Hiro (one of my friends had a German Shepard named Hero), and honestly I like Sylar, but I don't watch that show so I just like the name. :) I really don't have other ideas for you, just wanted to say how adorable he is and that I liked Hiro a lot. :)

Cute, cute, cute!!! :lovestruc

I'm not much help though because to me, he looks like Henry. :) How about just plain Asia - I've always like that as a name.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned RAJAH yet. That was Jasmine's tiger.

Venya~

Gender: Girl

Origin: Sanskrit

Meaning: Lovable; wished for

Pronunciation: (VEN ya)

I like Venya except it a boy(for awhile). Where is Pearl buck from and sorry if it's from disney and i don't know? Will consider all names. When we got Taj this wasn't a problem i had about 5 names picked out with Nala in the lead until i saw her. My husband came in the door and i said that's Taj and i want her. Thanx and keep them coming

Melinda

No. Pearl Buck is not from Disney. She is a Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winner for her literary work, "The Good Earth." An epic saga of life in early, rural China.

I have a "food" name suggestion, too. "Dim Sum"-literally translates as "little heart". When I used to watch the Frugal Gourmet many, many years ago (anyone else, before he had "the incidents"?) he said the translation was "little jewel that tugs at the heart".:goodvibes (gimme an awwwwwwwww:goodvibes)

I wanted to name my Sharpei "Dim Sum" at the time, but my DH wouldn't let me..so we named her "Mogwai" from the movie "Gremlins". Mogwais were little Asian fluffy cuties, but when you fed them they became wild and crazy Gremlins. And she was a little sweetie on the outside with a gremlin waiting to come out, so it fit.

You could also use a beer name, Tsing Tao!

I'm surprised that "Tigger" hasn't been suggested!
