Several Restaurant Gift Card Questions

I got a ton of gift cards to use on this trip, so is there any problem with any of these:

1. Using them for Food and Wine booths or anywhere in the Worlds of Epcot
2. Using them at Shula's Steakhouse or Il Mulino
3. Including the Tip for the server on the gift card?
4. Using them at Mama Melrose, Trattoria al Forno, Liberty Tree Tavern or Citricos? (not sure if it differs from the Swan restaurants)
5. How do you use them on mobile ordering for quick service?

Thank you ahead of time!
Tiff :)

1, 3, 4 - yes you can use the Disney gift cards, no problem, as many as you need to use to cover payment (but you will need to sign EVERY receipt)
2 - I don't believe you can use them at the Swan/Dolphin
5 - You can use for mobile ordering but you have to input the number each time, the app doesn't 'remember' the gift card and also you are limited to the number of payment types you can use, so this is not a good time to try to use up small/leftover balances on multiple cards.

Disney Gift Cards can not be used at Shula's Steakhouse or Il Mulino, basically can't use at any of the S/D locations except the Disney Gift Shop inside the Dolphin.

Thank you! The only part I'm still confused on it #5 - I had googled and found the disney answer here: https://plandisney.disney.go.com/qu...rd-payment-method-ondisney-experience-442404/ and she says: "Please note that only one Disney Gift Card can be applied per order, but you can use it in combination with another credit or debit card to complete your purchase – this is the perfect opportunity to use those gift cards sitting at home holding a small remaining balance."

I have a lot of $50 and $25 gift cards so am I not going to be able to use them all on my mobile ordering throughout my trip? I'm sorry I'm lost on this still.

Just a pro-tip... Go on disneygiftcard.com and consolidate at least some of them so you're not having to hand over multiple ones and keep up with what card nas what tiny balance on it. It's courteous to the CM and everyone in line behind you.

Last week I was in Basin and the woman at the register next to me handed over a stack of like 15 cards with little bits on each of them. Even the Basin CM politely said "I don't know if you know, but you can use the gift card website to combine them" and explained to her how to do it.

Yes, if the total exceeds what you have on the gift card you want to use, you would use that gift card plus credit/debit card, but not multiple gift cards.

Okay I didn't know how to combine them since they're specific $25 or whatever - I thought I'd need some sort of generic Disney gift card that wasn't a set amount.

If they are Disney Gift Cards, you just add them onto your account on disneygiftcard.com and you can combine them from there. You do have to move the complete balance. And you can choose to keep or delete empty cards on there - you can only have I think 6 cards, so I always keep one "empty slot" without a card for transferring the balance to one of my regulars.

If they all look alike though, DEFINITELY mark the one(s) you are keeping!!

Does using disneygiftcard.com allow you to scan and pay for items?
Sorry, not clear to me how to actually use the cards once entered.

The website lets you combine the balances onto one or more physical cards. You still need to have the physical cards to pay at restaurants, except for mobile order.

You are just combining them on there. It is not a mobile wallet. As deblovespooh said, you still carry and use the card, but instead of carrying 10 cards, and messing with it, and frustrating Cast Members when you are trying to use them, you just carry one at a time, with $500 balance on it, and keep any others in the safe in your room. Say you are at dinner and depleted your card down to $30 or whatever, you can transfer more money to it from the other cards in your account (and in your room safe). Many of us fill several to the $1000 max to use for hotel, then dining, etc. A WDW trip can cost quite a bit.
