Several Families on Dining Plan?

I will be staying at OKW this December with my parents who are vacation club members. We have a Grand Villa and there will be 3 separate families (my parents, my sister & her partner, and myself, dh & 2 kids -so 6 adults & 2 kids).

If we purchase the dining plan will all of our credits be lumped together? I am worried that we will have trouble figuring out who used what since we will probably only have about half of our meals together.

Also, can we pay for our own portions or do they all have to be charged to one account?

I'm sure this question must have been answered before but I am having no luck searching, so thank you for any replies!

Yes, all the credits will be pooled together. You'll need to work out a trust relationship between all of you with regard to the use of the credits.

The Dining Plan gets paid for at check-in. You can hand the CM a set of credit cards to charge certain amounts to, at that time. If you wish to have the ability to charge incidentals to the room, only one credit card can be left as security for them. Under most, but not all circumstances, you can, again, settle the account the night before you check-out with a series of credit cards, charging a certain amount to each, however, you'll need to figure out who spent how much. In some circumstances (and this has happened to me), the credit card left as security for incidentals is charged mid-trip, when you reach a specific limit (typically $1500 in incidentals). However, many folks have reported that when they reach the limit, they're now simply stopped from charging further. Again, that wasn't our experience.
