Also, when you have paid, does your status change from booked to paid? or does it stay at booked?

It's 3:16 .. I'm assuming you all got to book and my TA was told wrong by DCL. She was told that I could book on April 8th, but that didn't sound right to me? Please save some excursions for us first timers. Thanks all! Hope you all get what you want!

Hi - got in at 3:01amEST and was able to get Palo's Brunch and Dinner - all of the excursions we wanted ( will detail later ) but CANNOT get into the Spa reservations - I keep waiting and getting an error with the website/reload message - Not sure how much longer I want to try this tonight!

Good luck to ALL - Happy Easter too! I see the Bunny has been here and left the Easter Baskets! I wonder when he(she/me) will hid the Easter Eggs? Maybe while waiting to access the Spa page?!!

Got thru finally at 1200 AM PDT . Got all my excursions and Palo resv. high tea-brunch- dinner. Don't know why but got only 2 people for high tea and brunch but got 4 people for dinner. I wanted 4 people for all the res. I'll try to change number of people for brunch and high tea on the ship.

We just finished booking Palo and our excursions. We got:

7/8 high tea at Palo 3pm
7/9 Palermo for kids
7/10 Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri
7/11 Coda cavallo beach
7/12 Rome on your own
7/13 Dinner at Palo 6:30 PM
7/14 Pisa
7/15 Marseille and Little Train
7/16 Nice and Train Tour
7/17 Brunch at Palo 11 AM


The only excursion we did not get and wanted was VIP Pisa.
We'll try later at 9:00 AM on the phone to see if we can switch to it.

Ok - so like I said before, I too tried at midnight EST, and no luck until 3AM EST.
Was able to book Palo's for Brunch, Dinner & Tea, and got all of the excursions on our list:
Palermo - Mondello Beach 12:45 - 5:15 (other time avail was 8:45 -12:15)
Olbia - Day at Sea at Maddalena Archipelago 8:45 - 3:15 (not sure if other time avail.)
La Spezia - Florence on your Own 7:30-6pm ( one time offered)
Maseilles - Calanques of Cassis 8 -12:30 ( I think there was a 1:15? tour also)
Villefranche - Nice & Train Tour 8am - 12:30 (other time was 1:15 -5:45)
Naples & Rome - we went with private tours. Rome with DebT's family , and we are still looking to share our Naples tour if anyone is interested! You can email me at shercara@aol.com!

Only problem is - can't book anything for the Spa!! I keep getting Web Site Not Responding message. I tried from 3am to 4:30am - went back to bed, and tried a few times again since 6:30am!!

I (the bunny) just hid the easter eggs, and I guess now I will start making breakfast (pumpkin pancakes with pecans and buttescotch chips!) and keep trying on line, and then I guess call DCL when they open at 9am!!

Did anyone get VIP Pisa last night?

We were on from midnight until 1:30 trying to make reservations. Woke up at 6am to call DCL to find out what the problem was and they said that although our Castaway Club member numbers were listed, there is a box that needs to be checked to say that we are not first-time cruisers and it wasn't checked.

So the kind man checked it and we could get in to make reservations. DH's first choice was VIP Pisa which wasn't listed. A supervisor is supposed to call me tomorrow to find out if there is any chance for us to get that one. The rest went through okay.

We are doing
Palermo Erice and Segesta
Olbia Train to Gallura
Villefranche Monaco, Monte Carlo and Eze
Villefranche Evening Casino
Naples Mt. Vesuvius Hike and Pompeii

This is the second time a DCL agent messed up our reservation.

I am tired and grumpy (as is DH, who was kidnapped yesterday, forced to sit in Starbucks to look through all of the excursions, make his choices, and finally released 2.5 hours later) and hope that everything goes smoothly from now on. Back to bed...

We were able to book 2 facials the first day at sea for my MIL. Did you log out and retry? I know last May many members of our cruise meets had trouble booking spa appoinmtments and excursions and if they retried or changed from Fox Fire, etc. to Internet Explorer it worked for them.

APINCA- Any luck with getting the VIP Pisa? I had it on my wish list, but it did not show up each time I tried to book an excursion in Pisa.

We did the later train rides in Nice only because we knew the kids wouldn't be getting up too early after Pirates Night (supposedly Marseille night). DS6 finally made it through his first pirate night out of 3 cruises last December and really slept in the next morning. The only one I'm worried about the kids getting very tired on is Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri. Seems like it will be a long day, but we really wanted to see them and figure they can always nap on the bus ride if they are still a bit jet lagged/not used to the time change.

Our times for our other excursions were:

Palermo for kids 8:30-12:30
Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri for Families 7:45-6:15
Coda Cavallo Beach 9:00-2:00
Rome on your Own 8:15-6:45
Pisa 8:30-1:30
Marseille and the Little train 1:15-4:45
Nice and Train tour 1:15-5:45

I booked Palo first, with Dh and I on 2 computers booking the excursions. I did our stateroom with me, dh and ds6 and he did his mom and our ds9's stateroom. Before logging off, he checked Palo and said high tea was gone, most brunches were gone and dinner had a few spots left.

We have been able to get Palo onboard the day of embarkation very easily the day and times we wanted on two other cruises including dinner and a brunch, so I wouldn't worry if you haven't booked it yet and they aren't showing as available. Some came up if you switched from 1-2 people to 3-4.

I guess my TA was wrong and I couldn't book on April 8th. I still can't book. I guess I'll be tired on the 23rd! Maybe I'll be sick that day (just kidding!)

I'd be interested too. I called and they told me it was full. I did read elsewhere that they only allow 30 people in the tower at a time. So I wonder how many of those 30 spots did Disney actually have? I bet not too many. You also have to wonder how many they sell in advance. I bet they leave some for people that arrive that day to buy (kinda of how they keep some Palo available for people once they board).

We got the following:

High tea, brunch & Dinner at Palo
Palermo - Sights of Palermo
OlBia - Costa Smeralda
Rome - Exclusive VIP Visit of the Vatican & Highlights of Rome
La Spezia - Florence and Pisa (but wanted VIP Pisa however, even though it is a 2 hour bus ride we might stick with this one)
Marseille - Aix En Provence
Villefranche - Nice and Train Tour
Naples - we hired a private guide

I'm not sure if we are going to keep our tours just depends on how the first group rates them when they go in May.
