Seven Seas Lagoon/Wilderness Lodge

We just returned last week and rented a Water Mouse from the Wilderness Lodge. It was about $25 for 30 minutes. They will charge you at 15 minute increments after 30. I think it was only another $7 for an extra 30 minutes (about $32 for 60 minutes). The Seven Seas lagoon is the place to be. From the Wilderness Lodge it took between 5-10 minutes to get over to the Magic Kingdom area and you can get great pictures of the Monorails, the Castle and the resorts. It is a GREAT experience go for an hour and spend the $32! I split the time with my 5 year old & 7 year old. I took them out for about 20 minutes each. They let me switch at the dock and were generous with my time. They only charged me for 30 minutes.

We have rented water mice the last 2 times we stayed at the Contemporary & they were a lot of fun. Although, this time I had a very slow boat. One of my DD's got her own boat for the first time & loved it.

I agree that they are definitely worth the cost for the experience. It is fun.

DD and I plan on renting one this summer. Ours will definitely be slow since our combined weight will be near 300# but all we want to do is cruise around and get the photo ops. Definitely doing an hour.

We had about 300#'s in our WL boat and it is pretty slow going. I switched boats once after seeing how much faster other boats were going and my second boat was faster but it was still quite slow. I think they would be really fun if you are smaller or if your kids are big enough to use them by themselves but for me it was frustratingly slow. I enjoyed the boat shuttle from Wl to Mk more. But being 6'9" and 250#s that boat wasn't exactly built with me in mind let alone me and a daughter. But I think most smaller people would enjoy it.
