Seven Nights too long?

My family of four, including daughter 14 and son 11, will be going to Orlando in July, 2003, staying at Portofino. My original plans were to stay 4 nights at Disney World and three nights at PBH. We were in Disney World in October of 2001.(our first trip) My kids enjoyed, but actually said they were a little bored after a week. (They LOVE thrill rides!) Now, they want to stay all seven nights at Universal, doing US, IOA and SeaWorld. (Possibly even one afternoon at DisneyQuest). Will seven nights be too long? I absolutely do not want commando style this trip. I figured with the savings of the hotel onsite at Universal and not purchasing Disney passes, we could save a bundle, especially since the kids don't really want to go to Disney World.

Those of you who have toured US, IOA and SeaWorld - will seven days be too much? Thanks for your opinions!

Since your family has already been there and know what they like 7 days would be wonderful! July is busy so it would be nice to have the extra time.

Our last trip we stayed for 10 days...we had a wonderful vacation. You will save a ton of $$$ not doing Disney. You could get the flex pass if they still offer them and do Sea World as well. There is also the 5 consecutive days bonus pass offered online for a great price. Dont have to stand on 60 minute lines either.

We had a few down days just totally enjoying the resorts. Spending the day by the pool renting a cabana and just relaxing was wonderful! We split our stay between Hard Rock and Portofino.

We are heading back this December and spliting the stay between Disney and Universal and the Disney portion is much more expensive!

Good Luck with your decision:)
