Boma - Breakfast Buffet, something for everyone and very convenient
Mara - lunch, counter service, easy quick and right by the pool.
Sanaa - Dinner, staff amazing, food wonderful and atmosphere is very family friendly
Jiko - Dinner, staff and food are above everything, not so much geared for kids.

The past few days have been so hectic I haven't been on here at all! I hope everyone had a good holiday and are staying safe and cool.

My boss finally got power last night. There were 16 trucks and crews from Alabama working on her street to restore the electricity and when the lights came on at 10:00 the neighborhood cheered!

With all these talks about the awesome dining at AKL I am thinking about switching an ADR. Right now we're eating in the parks everday.

Perhaps we could plan on a counter service there? How is that?

Thoughts on one we could skip for AKL?? It's just DH and I.

Personally I think the resorts all have better food then the park TS. With the exception of Epcot World showcase restaurants.
I'd switch Tusker House if you're thinking of eating at AKL Boma, as I heard they are similar. I've not tried Tusker, like Boma.

We tend to book Resort TS according to what park we plan on being in.

Good Evening J's & K's

Hope everyone has power, air conditioning and life returning to normal. I am so, so sorry that my friends here have been so affected by these storms.

Our one daughter, SIL and grandkids all live in North Carolina. They didn't experience any power problems...thank God. But they sure have been having a lot of storms. I will be on the phone with her and zap....the connection is gone. She will call me back and we will talk awhile and again we are disconnected. Strange weather every where lately.

We are down to Double Digit on our trip count down!

Happy Friday Everyone! Oh my....I didn't see any Zebra Domes here today!!!!!! Maybe it isn't really Friday???
