Any word when it will open? When and will it be added to FP+??

Just read an article stating that media preview is scheduled for 4/30, 5/1 and 5/2 so likely opening to the public 5/1 or 5/2.

Got to make my 60-day out FP+ selections this morning! I'm annoyed Seven Dwarves (what are we calling it, SDMT?) was not an option. I know it will be open by May 18th! Hope this is not a sign the opening got pushed back.

I think FP+ will be added when Disney officially announces the grand opening dates. Similar to the FP for the Frozen girls being added after their move was officially announced. So far, Disney hasn't officially announced the grand opening yet.

~If the mine train opens to the public on May 1st -- FP+ should have been available by now. I'm going to guess that Disney is not going to release FP+ until the ride is open to the general public. Hopefully, FP+ and Magic Bands will be ready to go around that time, as well! We'll see.

I'm so excited! Our trip is planned to be May 3-10 so it looks like our timing is perfect. We are getting so tired of seeing the construction walls every single year!

They are holding a media event April 30th. May 2nd is supposedly the opening date as leaked on social media there is supposed to be an opening event at 10:15am.

They have been testing with weights daily for a long time now.

they have actually repainted the track once already because they have been testing so much.
