This is driving me crazy waiting to see when it opens and when we can get fastpasses. We will be there last week in May. I have heard so many different things on soft opening and opening that I'm getting frustrated lol. I hope we will get to ride it

Looks pretty much what I expected. Big thrills for the preschool to lower grade school crowd but still enjoyable for all ages. It appears the individual cars are suspended from the front and back.

Yes. That's what allows them to sway from side to side.

Okay I got a scaredy cat question for you? I read somewhere that this new ride is similar to Big Thunder? I was just wondering because I have rode that once and was kid of shaky during it. I know I am a big old wimp

It will be similar but given it is a family attraction it won't be very fast. Also, given that it is new it will should also be super smooth. Think of Splash Mountain on smooth rails.

We are in WDW for 36 hours May 18th post-cruise. MK is open till 2am our only night so I really hope it is open by then so we can take advantage of the "no" lines at 2am.

By May 18th you should have no problem. The ride will be open by then barring some ridiculous issue.
