Seven Dwarf Mine Ride

Ok... I know everyone is anxiously awaiting the opening of the new ride and the hoping to secure a fp for it.... but WHEN WHEN WHEN will it finally happen?
I have a June trip planned... I have already set all fast passes up, however I want to change one out for the new ride if and when possible.
I have heard May 2 is the opening date... is this true?
Also, when will fp be out?

When is Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opening?
We are putting the finishing touches on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and look forward to all our Guests being able to experience it later this spring when it officially opens.

Have no idea what "later this spring" means.

I wonder if attractions in the past opened right after media events or if they waited a week or two to open them officially?
