I'm so excited - just one week to go!
We're almost ready. Cats vaccinated and ready for cattery, cases down from loft, just about everything bought, tickets arrived (except car vouchers
- although we've been promised they'll be here very soon), SIL expecting passports on Monday
, currency to get, ironing to iron...... and to-do list at work getting longer and longer for some inexplicable reason!!
Thanks to you guys I'm chilled about the prospect of an 8 seater mini van, I know we'll have our character breakfast at either the Restaurantosaurus or 1900 Park Fayre, I'm prepared for spiders at Shrek, and I've finally decided we'll park at my DM's and taxi to Manchester airport to save some pennies. I also know a back route to AK and know we can buy ponchos and walkie talkies at Walmart.
And this is our 4th trip!
Final anxious question - does anyone have any experience in height restrictions? My nephews are 38 inches and 46 inches respectively, in bare feet (and admittedly not stretching tall), which makes them just too short to ride things they want to ride. Are the height restrictions printed in the books the exact height of the measuring sticks? If so, will chunky soles and spiky hair help?? The smallest one wants to ride Back to the Future (40") and the taller is desperate to do RnR (48").
