ok, so the lady and I are checking in at the poly on dec 10th, we have our own room, stayin for 3 nights, poppin the question the first night (friday). my parents are celebrating their 33rd anniv the same night (making it all more special). theyre going out to dinner that night and I want to setup something special, like champagne and some chocolate covered strawberries for when they get back.

as for the lady and I, we're going to wait on the poly beach til Wishes comes on so I can ask the big Q...afterwards I'd like to go back to our room with our own champagne and room service already in there.

should I wait til we check in and arrange everything? or should I get crackin right away? my only concern is having to be all hushyhush when im there with the group. id like to have everything arranged so I dont have to worry about anything when we check in.

also, if I do wait til we get to the resort, where do I set everything up? I know about disneyflorist but I dont think they'll be able to handle the room service part.

anywho, if anyone can help me with this, id greatly appreciate it. this is going to be one special trip and I'd like everything to work out without any problems.

thanks guys!

hmm, im starting to think just setup the champagne for both rooms and order the room service after we get in...theres really no rush. :p

ahhhhhh i shouldnt be replying to my own threads...im definitely going crazy.

so when should I setup the whole champagne dealie? at checkin? who do I speak to?

thanks again :teeth:

I would call ahead and not wait until check in.

You can call the resort and ask for in-room dining and make all of the arrangements with them. They will probably tell you to call back when the actual date gets closer but at least you can get the ball rolling.

I'm sure they will be able to set up something very beautiful.

How wonderful!

Chocolate covered strawberries have to be ordered at least 24 hours in advance. I would order everything before and make a followup call after you arrive.

Check with the resort after check in as well.. sometimes they won't deliver alcohol to the room unless someone is present. I know at the GF they will but not all resorts are the same.

What a beautiful idea! For your proposal and your parents anniversary celebration.

You are thoughtful, funny and creative and I wish you a wonderful trip in December, beyond your wildest expectations.:D

Heloo Ahhhhhh...my fellow LOTW!!!!

I really do not have any suggestions for you. Just wanted to say I am so excited for you and I want to hear all the details.

Also...maybe you can get one of those mini wedding cakes, either delivered to the room or for dessert at a special dinner. I "think" they only have them at the GF restaurants, but I think you can order one to go and have someone pick it up and deliver it to your room. Just an idea.
