Setting up payment account w/ hotel

Is your room key also the key to get into theme/water parks? Is it possible to set up a payment account so that this room key would be used to pay for purchases/dining? Can you use cash to set up this account or only credit/debit cards...?

Yes, your room key is your park tickets and you can charge purchases and dining to your room with it. When we were there last Fall I put cash on my room and charged everything to my room using my room key. Every few days I'd stop at the front desk for a print out of charges and I would add more cash as needed.

Yes, yes, yes.

We just got back from the World and I did use a credit card for my account but you can also use cash. I went there with a twenty dollar bill and I came home with it. I used the room key/charge card for everything.

thanks for the quick replies. Although we will use our credit card for deposit, our daughter and her boyfriend will probably want to use the Cash option for leaving deposit. That'll make them feel better that they don't need to bring too much cash with them to the parks.

Another question..If you put money on your card, can you get back the unused amount whenever you want?
