Setting up new magic band

I just ordered a new magic band from Shop Disney. It has arrived and need some help. We have a trip all planned for next month and our old free magic bands are showing as active in the MDE app. So I think I have to enter the new one in MDE and register it. Then how do I make my current plans tickets and all that in MDE that are linked to the old magic band link to the new one so she can use it when we go?

All you have to do is add it to your account. All of your existing plans will be on that new magicband, as well as your old ones. You can use whichever band you want. We usually bring a bag full with us and wear different ones each day depending on which park we’re going to or what our outfit is.

1. Yup.
2. Any and all MBs in each person's MDX account will work with all WDW "plans."
All of the current MDX account info (tickets, WDW resort assets, etc.) gets accessed by any of your registered MBs.
(So a MB does not have anything "put on it.")

The MDX account is where the info is "stored."
The MB is the "key that unlocks it."
