Setting up my MDE

my FP window upend in a few hours and I'm trying to make sure I'm good to go. When I go on my mde account and try to select FP it says I have to link my tickets. Is this bc my time isn't available yet? Or is it bc I have done something wrong?

If you thought your tickets were already linked, then it does sound like you did something wrong. Have you purchased tickets?

If you purchased a package, everything will appear at the moment your booking window opens.

You don't need to do anything at this time.

I've purchased a package. I can see my reservations, including tickets. But if I try to book FP it then asks me to link tickets. I assumed it would tell me it wasn't time yet or something. The linking part had me confused. But my tickets are there..., so I'm crossing my fingers that hiromyhero is right.

Mesaboy2 also addresses the same info in his FP thread. Disney's FP system, unfortunately, doesn't explain things very well.
